I wouldn't bother shooting a new player. It's a waste of ammo, and they're fun to watch.

What the hell? Yesterday it was 34 minute and now it's 46? I call shenanigans. Was something wiped? Could people be banding together to survive? Or is a lone bandit trapping everyone in a cellar and giving them nothing but lotion and beans?

I'm pretty sure those are already filtered out. Nobody knows the exact amount of time though.

I sprinted into the NW Airfield with the intention of dying. I killed every zombie in my way and left with more ammo than I entered with. Most fun I've ever had.

Helicopters do exist on older servers.

The other day when the hotfix rolled out, I expected my character to be eaten by the update. I was planning on throwing up a YouTube video of my reactions to spawning on the hotfix. Alas, my character was fine, and I decided to attempt to end my life in a much more hilarious fashion. Armed with an M4 CCO with two mags, and a Makarov with three, I decided to sprint into the NW airfield and shoot every zombie I ran into. The ultimate goal was to die, and have fun doing it. But instead, I managed to loot both barracks, the firestation, and most of the hangars without any difficulty. I was so desperate to die that I even ran around with a flare in hand while shooting the horde. (It was after dusk) Despite the fact that I didn't get sniped, I found it very easy to fight off all the zombies. I think I only bled once. Granted, I ended up leaving the airfield with the same amount of ammo I came with, + a PDW and three mags rather than a Makarov. I also scored a much better YouTube video. :D Still, this method of looting was very fun and effective. Although if i didn't find as much ammo as I did, I probably wouldn't have left much much to spare.

If you notice, I constantly complain about how dark it is. I upped the brightness on the editing for the viewers. Essentially, the final video is brighter than it was when I filmed it.

I was standing on top of a rock once. It was a pretty small rock too, probably just a foot tall. As soon as I walked off of it the gravity of earth gave me the bird, and my legs shattered as I hit the dirt. Bled to death, but it was hilarious.

No... Bear traps should tear your legs off and make a snapping sound so loud that the zombies 225km away hears it and starts running after you. Because bear traps aren't invisible. So you should be able to notice them in a doorway or something.

Yeah it's post soviet Russia. Guns everywhere makes sense, but GPS', luxury seafood, and toilets, do not.

I had fraps running when I pulled aggro from one zombie on 1.7.1.1, armed with a flashlight I successfully evaded the zombie. Video Tutorial:

Loot is not bugged. It's just harder to find.

I was told that you can't anymore... Just because crawling makes the zombies head you somehow. :-/

My first experience to spawn without a weapon was very eventful. After running to Elektro I immediately discovered a body with an AK-74 and two mags, as well as some food and soda. This was good, because the loot bug was pretty terrible... After searching the rest of the buildings and finding nothing I started heading for the north Firestation when I heard the motor of a vehicle. I could see the ATV screaming down the hill and I got ready to peg his ass. Unfortunately I had the AK on semi, and I think I missed him each time I fired. But I surely scared the shit out of him because he swerved and tipped his ATV. With a horde of zombies on him, he ran into the nearest building and started fighting them off. I ran in the back entrance and met him in a side room. I was so excited that I unloaded half a mag into his balls, rather than hit his head like I should have. He shot my face a few times with his Makarov though and I died instantly. He bled to death after that. :D

I can see it now... You're walking through the woods with your friend when you see that lonely cabin, and that Old Hatchback you were going to repair. Just a few zombies in the way, no big deal. Then your flashlight catches the eye of one... A scream bursts through the silence and alerts all of the other zombies. Silhouettes dot your light's beam as they sprint for you. Their screams filling the air to the point where you feel surrounded. Gunfire ignites the darkness, as a far off survivor hears the echoes of the battle, and cowers with his flashlight. I never understood why zombies were so unsocial... Wouldn't it be realistic if they called out for their brethren to assist them? And seriously... If you could hear gunshots and the screams of zombies for a half a kilometer or so, that would be badass.

You spawned in Debug forest because you have not updated your ArmA II Beta Patch. And the whole, "Spawn with no weapon" thing has been discussed, and has been around for ages!
