One thing i think they should add is the ability to attach you hunting knife (or a bayonet found in barracks/helli crash) to your military grade rifle for a melee attack if you run out of ammo.

That would be a good use for a crowbar, prying wheels and parts from working cars and scrap metal from burnt useless ones.

The idea is strangulation is good but it would only work on players as zombies don't need air (unless DayZ zombies are weird) so for a silent zombie kill the assassination would be much better, you sneak up behind a zombie grab its forehead and ram the knife up into its brain through that soft spot at the back of your scull. Because we all know that the only way to kill a zombie is its brain :)

I was amazed that you cannot use you hunting knife as a weapon, so the idea of more melee weapons like spiked bats and pipes is awesome And i think a good use for the crowbar is to use it for prying bits of metal (scrap metal for repairing you hull or sheet metal for armour) off wreaked vehicles and using the pieces to reinforce you car, not so much to stop bullets but to protect the engine from low level crashes into trees and such
