    Hatchet for meat?

    Texasmame posted a topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions

    Okay, so I've played for a bit now. I'm still not much more than a moving target but I'm getting there. :) Anyhow, killed a cow with the hatchet and was shocked to find I couldn't get any meat from the cow - apparently you need a hunting knife. If the hatchet is good enough for killin', it should be good enough for hacking off some meat to take with you.
