By the time SA is released the momentum of all the DayZ excitement will have waned. The market is almost saturated with zombie apocalypse games most better than the current vanilla DayZ mod. I have lost confidence in Rocket and team to deliver a quality product that is not just more of the same(wash rinse repeat); i might pick up SA on a steam summer sale for $5 next year. -

The latest round of patchs have increased my enjoyment of the game they mod community had done excellent work in my opinion the zombie zigzag issue being huge and the tightening of the headhsot area makes it much tougher and frankly more realistic. The major issue now with Dayz as i see it is "hacker" jerk griefers they are prolific.

Thats where i'm at had to ban two asshats for being jerks in chat to new players and "hacking" their parents didn't love them evidentally; I am not a babysitter! On my server i expect people to play the game however they like; you want to be the sniper hill guy taging bambis as they run around cherno? be my guest but be cool about it and play legit oh and don't shoot the admin helping bambis..that'll get you banned. -
Not my first choice for a camp....sounds like bambi bait or people unloading a tent from their inventory.

bandits are fine its the script kiddie griefers that make it hard for new players for no other reason then epeen wagging no one cares about your baby dick stay off my server. -
Find a good private hive server will low population to learn how to survive against zeds first. Then move on to one with better population and learn how to survive with other players hunting you. You will have a better overall experince and level of enjoyment IMHO p.s. also google Frankieonpcin1080p's dayz videos the are as entertaining as they are informative.
