I'm looking for a Private Hive server that's up 24/7, has lots of friendly players in it and maybe a few custom things added to it? I've just been playing DayZ #UK1 but after the admin f*cked me around saying he'd give me a lift whilst flying away every time I'm about to get into the Helicopter I've decided that server is no fun. Anyway the Zombies are super over powered and it's just not fun, shame because the majority of players on that server are friendly. It'd be awesome to find a home server I can start up on that's just got a ton of friendly players on with a few custom mods, don't worry if it doesn't. The friendly players are the main thing I'm looking for. I know you're gonna say "oh there are going to be bandits in every server" yeah I know that, but I want to find one where there aren't tons of them. Thank you for reading.

Yeah the FN FAL is one of the best guns in the game (imo). Just let players spawn with a Makarov at the most jeez

My team are happy as we are but just a heads up, use a program called Mumble, it's push to talk rather than just endless talking like Skype, it's better if you want to go stealth in game. Oh and I'd recommend using Private Hive servers rather than public as they have next to 0 hackers as you have to get whitelisted, saves you from getting teleported and killed once you have spent a week looting stuff. UK#10 is a good private hive. Zombies shouldn't really be a problem, you can easily out run and avoid them, yeh I guess that's kinda lame that he killed you but he did only have a hatchet, it's part of the game. If he came down with 5 guys in a heli and sprayed you down it probably would've been a different story but some people are just a bit annoying. I always think of it as, if I kill this player, I may or may not get some good stuff from him, but if I team up. That's an extra guy that's got my back and I'll most likely be able to get more loot from just teaming up with him. Try and scout out cities a bit more before you go into them, if you have binoculars that's a big bonus. Also, I guess it kinda changes what servers you go on, I've been on some where you just get held up at spawn everytime and it's pointless, others I've been in you have a lot of people picking up guys from spawns in heli's. But yeah, like Bludy said, try and stay out of Elektro and Cherno especially, even Berezino because they're crawling with PvP'ers and if you don't get killed by some mad guy with a hatchet, chances are you're in someones scope that's sitting up in the hills. EDIT: + You think that's annoying? Try getting killed with NVG's, 2 FALS and a Silenced Bison with 3 Alice packs between you full of food, blood bags, morphine, drinks, matches and 3 G17's we weren't even attacking people but it's part of the game, you'll get used to it soon. I'm looking for a Private Hive server that's pretty friendly, and by that I mean no arguing and lots of friendly players I really want to find a good server that's up all the time, with no lag but isn't full of clans holding choke points and just other players in general spraying down players as soon as they spawn. I've been in UK#10 for the past week or so and I'm not a great player when it comes to PvP so I'm getting killed quite a lot, as it's full of really good players, and clans. It'd be nice to find a server that isn't so hardcore and full on, thanks for reading

Hey man you playing in a Private Hive server or just roaming around public ones?

Try UK#10 - You have to get whitelisted but it really isn't hard, always 40+/60 players and I've met a lot of friendly people there. Unfortunately, just like any other server there is a lot of bandit activity but that can't be helped. You can apply for whitelist here

What sever do you play on? I started off on UK#10 on my own, still on it. I'd suggest you start off alone, get some experience then look for a team, there's more chance people will want to team up with you if you have experience. I personally found myself a home server and collected a lot of stuff alone then came to the forums and now I have friends but I don't know. Says it all in the title really. Obviously I'll need to prove you can trust me as you will with me but I'm a fairly good player but also a new one. Really simple question, it's in the title. Before you say I have searched the forums for an answer but all that came up were errors to do with having a wrong signature in OA and DayZ. All I want to know is how I add it in the forums. Oh and one more thing, if we have a guide or something we want to share with people where does it go in the Forum? [solved] This can be deleted now

I never thought I'd see the day where I made an account on this forum but this is my last cry for help. Okay so I started off with ARMA II Free and I bought Operation Arrowhead from Steam, I couldn't get the game to work so after 2 days of trying I gave up and just resulted to buying ARMA II from Steam. I've spent three days trying to get this to work but I haven't been able to join or play a single game of DayZ. I've manually installed DayZ, I've installed DayZ using DayZ commander, I've also used 'ARMA II Launcher' this is seriously getting on my nerves now. I've manually updated both BEClient.dll and BEServer.dll in both: and I've reinstalled both ARMA II and Operation Arrowhead 4 times now. I've unblocked all of the BEclient.dll and BEserver.dll files in OA and ARMA II (Right click/properties) I've 'Verified the integrities' of both game caches being ARMA II and Operation ArrowHead. ARMA II and DayZ are both updated to the latest patch in DayZ Commander Still no luck. I seriously don't know what's going wrong. Here is an image you might want to take note of; Why is it red? Like I've said I haven't played a single game so I don't know what it's like normally, maybe it is red I don't know but it doesn't look right.. I don't know. (Just incase the image doesn't work.) In the 'pre game lobby' It says After seeing that image and clicking join game. Everything loads then I get this message. Seriously. Please understand why I am pissed off. I've not just come here complaining about shit that's easily fixed wasting your time. I've watched so many guides on Youtube. Read through this forum and others. I just don't know what to do. BattlEye need to get their shit together or they're gonna have a lot of angry players to deal with. Please please help me someone. Please. I hate spending money especially if it's £20 on pointless crap that doesn't even work.
