When is it being released ;) -
I base this on the way things are fixed and patched daily, Arma 3 just gets better everyday.. Arma 2 released 2009 and look at how many patches & support that game game got hehe, in fact i think they only just stopped updating AO2 if i'm not mistaken ? Yeah, been a fan since OPF way back then, and i feel very confident in BIS supporting DayZ SA, I have no reason not to tbh based on my own experience with there released titles ;)

lol nothing wrong with being a fanboy of BIS hehe.. I have faith in BIS to hold the same sort of support for SA :D

Agreed about not knowing too much, it can ruin the experience and surprise's etc.. Nothing has to explained in raw detail in these brief blogs.. I guess the most important thing for Dean is to pass this milestone and get it in the hands of the fans as fast as possible so the real testing and bug fixing can begin, much like the rest of the Arma series of games :-) Best supporting PC dev is and always will be BI :-)

I would be fine with a blog (play through) once a week or month,, I am sure others would too, Dean just needs to NOT let criticism get to him. Every game dev goes through the same grief... If there was silence then he would have something to worry about as no one would be remotely interested in DayZ SA.. Fans good or bad is a sale and that's a win in my book... :-) Edit // Rule number one - you can't please every one ;-)

I dunno though, The dev blog didn't look that hard to do or take up much time tbh... Just play around for 10 mins explaining whats been fixed etc simple really hehe I bet they do that every day ;-)

Looks really good cant wait.... Zombies looked awesome to me, loved the chase scene they look scary & fast ! Please Dean, keep the zombies that fast and blood thirsty in the release pleaseeee ;-) Must release a night time blog next ;-) gg

lol @ this thrread, it grew fast with childish banter hehe... ppl just need to chill, Dean is most prob under enough pressure as it is without coming here in his spare time (if he has any) to read this cr@p, same goes for Reddit... Peace out ;-)

Yeah this has also been one of those things that has bothered me as well :-( I think we had two Dev Blogs that stayed on time, but that was like months ago lol.. I guess its always important to take things with a pinch of salt when Rocket states anything (nothing against Rocket) as things change very fast in the dev world.. Id say to Dean stick with Leading ur team and leave the PR to BI ;-)

I agree, I much prefer it this way too. No where is safe! Please keep this feature in ;) Edit : Although the only prob with this is the odd stutter u get when they spawn in :-/ or am I the only one seeing this ? -

Strange as mine is now working - showing correct servers now, simple reboot solved the issue <_< -

Yup same here - Different version this time, updated to 1.7.6 same issues even though GayZ cmdr shows installed version as 1.7.6 lol.. -
Just updated via commander - not seeing any servers at all :-\ Tried Arma 2 Norm browser - same problem ? Even filtered 1.7.6 and still nothing.. Updated Arma 2 beta as req and dayz 1.7.6,, Any ideas why I may not be seeing any 1.7.6 servers in DayZ Cmdr & Arma Browser ?

The only real challenge with the Zombies what I noticed was there hearing distance was fixed, other than that they were just as easy to lose if chased etc.. And of course the combat logger would make u sit there for 30secs if u wanted to leave the server if any Zombies were within a certain range of u (Annoying).
