[trouble with Arma 2 OA install]

I just bought Arma 2:CO on steam for Day Z, and after installing both I'm receiving these errors when I try to play OA

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow

error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:0

How can I fix this? I already tried re-installing OA

I installed Day Z using Day Z Commander and when I tried joining a server, it says "bad serial code given at setup"
