There's too much wrong with that. A perfect example would be killing people in self defense. I don't do KoS, but why should I be punished if I'm only defending myself? Yes, KoS sucks. But your suggestion would just create other problems, and it wouldn't solve the KoS 'problem'. Just group up with some friends, or try to be a bit more aware of your surroundings. I tend to play in nearly full servers, and I'm almost always aware of another player before they're aware of me. And it isn't difficult to tell if they're a new player or a vet, by watching how they move around. Newer players tend to be more of a KoS type, whereas more of the mod vets are not. Also, not every person that has killed another person IRL, is a sociopath. It's not mathematically possible.

Yeah they will be. Might be a couple of months, but they were in the mod, and I remember reading somekind of future 'to do list' that said that they'll be working on it.

No idea what town I was in, but the first guy I ran into followed me around while breathing real heavy into his mic...like erotica breathing. Every once in a while he would giggle, like, actually giggle. I kept asking him what his problem was, but he wouldn't actually say anything to me. I eventually found a baseball bat, but before I could pick it up, someone started shooting. At first I thought it was my creepy stalker, but I realized he was dead. I didn't last much longer.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think it has to do with the type of server your joining. Private hive servers don't allow your gear to join you, when your joining onto a new one. I think it's only on 'official' servers, that you can do this so called 'server hopping'.

So I have a crap of a time keeping my vehicles on these public servers, they just seem to want to disapear. Are things like this more reliable on private/hive servers? I just don't want to waste all these hours collecting parts, only to find out that I've wasted my time. Thanks!

So my wife and I were driving back home from the big city, and passed through a town called Cochrane on the way home. We passed a non-descript church while heading back to the highway, and I caught myself wondering to myself if I could find a map or a Ghillie suit in there. I shook my head and kinda laughed at myself for that, and proceeded to take a couple of dayz off from this game. ...just sayin'.

So I'm really new (Only been playing about a week), and low and behold... a hacker has gotten me killed. (us 5052 server) He teleported everyone into one area, I managed to log out before anything happened to me. Waited for 15 minutes, logged back in and was promptly killed by 'friendly fire' and basically got restarted back into Electro with ZERO gear. Not even the starter stuff, like a can of food or anything... yet, I'm still wearing my Ghillie suit? So what do I do? Can I (Doubtfully =( ) get any of my stuff back? I really have no idea who this 'hacker' was, but is there anything that I can do about it?

Yesterday, in the barn beside the church on the outskirts of Cherno. I had a bad run the last few hours by being killed by everyone, so I had pretty much lost all faith in humanity by then. I had run up the stairs, and found a sniper rifle. (Az550? I only just started playing a couple days ago, not too familiar with all the weapons yet.) Low and behold.... A gentleman named Steven had walked in behind me, and was crawling up the stairs to loot the Lee Enfield that was there. I didn't take any chances, so I blew him away... which, is how I learned how dangerous a horde of aggro'd Zombies can be. After wasting all my ammo, bandages and cooked meat... I somehow managed to escape with about 20 of the dead S.O.B.'s still 'alive' in the farm. Rest in peace, Steven.. I'll never forget. =(
