There's absolutly no way they would consider adding this feature. I'm so sorry. But as a gamer and as an amature game developer I'd like to give you some insight why. ONE, the main reason, what if you got handcuffed and impaired what would you do? That would totally ruin the fun if you couldn't move at all. Take Red Dead Redemption for example. A great game, in singleplayer you constantly use the rope to do strange things like tie a man and put him on the tracks, wrangle a horse or tie up a baddie to bring to the local law office. But there's no lasso in multiplayer? If you we're riding you horse like a magestic kick-arse lawbringer dude riding a bull, and all of the sudden you get whipped off by a noob with a lasso and are tied down and left what do you do? You're a sitting duck. And if an arse-hole sucha s myself decides to guard you tied up body as a sniper kiling anyone who tries to get near you'll sit there for years.

I've found that the maps in DayZ and ARMA in general is quite unsatisfactory and is quite hard to locate friends and places on it. Maybe it can be a findable thing, better maps, or you could have the ability fto start off with a blank map and as you move if you activate it/examine(or whatever) it will make a drawn map of what you've already been to but when you die you need to make aa new map. I know it's not our choice what map it is because it's just a mod right now but please don't follow in the uncomfortably footsteps of B.I. Or, just remove it all together. And then everyone will have to learn to read the stars. -a fanboy
