Ive just started played yesterday and while i dont find it a big problem now (since im still learning how to play) i find the fact that my chracter never saves kind of annoying. I had collected some things (mostly easy things to find) and now , everything is gone. This has happened everytime i start playing. when i disconnect i do it through ESC and the normal exit pathway. I never disconnected because of connection problems nor via alt+f4. I have the latest version of dayz and im currently using dayz commander.. What should i do? Edit: Fixed by using checking the option to launch using steam in dayz commader

[GUIDE] Installation Guide (Steam, Retail, Mixed, Beta, Common Errors)

In the Steam installation part of the guide in the following step: 8) Run Operation Arrowhead and select "Launch ARMA 2: Combined Operations" to play the game. I cant run this option since only 3 options appear: The first one says: Play Arma2: operation arrowhead Second: launch in windowed mode third:reinstall battleye anti-cheat. I have followed all the steps and double checked everything and cant figure out what's wrong. Can someone help? Edit: Instead of doing this installation i just used dayz commander. Just had to install it and search for a server to play in... It even updates your game automatically
