Well, I was heading to Cherno, after recently losing my UAZ from someone finding it while I was offline. I was north of Balota airfield and just west of Cherno, when I check my map and It shows a UAZ on the map. I find the UAZ, and I check its contents, and Its mine!!!!! What a stroke of luck!!!!!! So I got in, and drove out of the small patch of woods I was in. And I forgot to say, I'm in the middle of farmlands and nothing. No building or small towns around. So when I leave the woods, I see four Zed. All four staring at me. I was confused, and ran over and killed the nearest on to me. Then when I looked to find the other three, they are all walking away. Not looking at me. I just wipe it away as a regular DayZ weird thing, but about 30 seconds later, I realize Im in the middle of no where, why are there zeds?????. So I thought, maybe a Hunting stand. So curiosity drove me back to the place and there were no hunting stands, and the zombies were gone. I really don't know what happened, but it was the strangest thing to ever happen to me on DayZ.

Probably just Good 'Ol DayZ messing with me. But this time I got my car back.

Basically, I enjoy just the fact that this is one of the most realistic games ever. I also like killing zombies :). But the reason I dont ply COD zombies is because the realisticness. Its the best part. If it wasnt realistic, I wouldnt play.

I defenitely would! I just got so excited the first I got a car at Green Mountain, found my first M4 variant, etc...Now I find all that stuff on routine. Like the first thing I do when I spawn is get some basic loot in Cherno/Elektro then head straight to GM.

Print out a picture of the Cheranous map, hang it on the wall, then get a handful of tacs. Put a tac everywhere on the map where you have encountered people before. Then draw lines connecting the tacs. Dont put your base inside the lines, what I did was took the farthest line on the left and top of the map and went out another inch and created a border-On one side I can put a base-On the other, I cannot. This is probably the best idea. This way you know where most people are and then you can decide where to put your base.

Honestly i litteraly made a list of What i need to do. This is what it is at the moment- Find: Extra wheels Stanag Ammo 2nd car Extra tents (For my base) Those things keep me busy. Ive crossed many things off there, like NVGs, guns, etc...But those are my objectives. Then I always get interupted with side tasks like helping friends. You cannot win. You always set back one way or another.

No doubt, the Makarov. It takes 4-5 shots to kill a zombie and you get like a 7 bullet magazine or something like that. Ill take the crowbar and hatchet over the Makarov any day.

Im looking for my friend Wolf. I helped him out in Vybor, and I accidently shot him twice at NWAF, nearly killed him. Also I helped get him a car and we got ambushed by a bandit leaving Cherno, but we won :). My name in DayZ is sturkid....

I always give people a chance. One time at NWAF, here was this guy there running be chased by zombies and he would constantly stop to shoot the zombie behind him so I said "Leave now or you will be shot". That was his only warning, but he listened and left. So i didnt have to waste my dmr ammo.

Once I spent hours of time and so much food and ammo during the process of hunting this ass hole bandit who killed half of the server. I never caught him, but my friend that I kept constant contact with (Who was also hunting him) killed him. I got in multiple firefights too, and used much ammo..

Might sound crazy, but I always drive car close to the south barracks, park it in a small patch of trees no more than 100m away. Then I just get out and crouch walk almost the whole way to the barracks. For the north barracks, I drive up and run over all the zombies in the area or I get out and shoot all of them if I have a silenced gun. The only time I was killed was when I got chased out of the place by like 4 zombies when I TRIED sneaking in, all I had was a DMR, I ran outside the gates and into the woods, but I followed the wall, then 3 bandits all of the sudden ran through a evergreen and the one just shot me up....I eventually got revenge but thats a story for another day.

So me and my friend had two cars, I had an Offroad Jeep, and he had a UAZ. I took the lead in my offroad, constantly looking behind me to make sure my friend was still behind me. Then one time I look back and hes gone. Then on the sidechat we have a small conversation: (P.S., My name is sturkid and my friend is named Wolf) Wolf: Stur, pick me up. Tire down. Me:Hold on. (Wolf get in my Jeep) Me: I have two tires in the back, take them and repair your car. Wolf: Sniper. Immediately, I drive like a mad man. Then My tire gets shot out. We get out and see some woods about 100m away. Me: Get to the woods We run for 2 minutes deep in the woods then decide we cant leave our stuff. We creep back up the woods slowly and stop in a small patch of evergreens 10m from my car. Me: Barn to the left, 150m away, should we check it out? Wolf: Yeah, thats what I was thinking. We slowly reach the barn and see a dead zed halfway leaning out the doorway. Me: I clear left, you get right. Wolf:Copy. We clear the barn. Empty. Wolf: Ill fix your car, then we will get the hell outa here. Me: Ok. Im gonna go check out another barn. There is a second non-interable barn about 50m away. I get to it, clear the area, and just look around before I go regroup with Wolf. Then. BANG. I get shot by what sounds like a DMR, but Im barely hurt, and I sprint to the barn we were just at, and I look and see Wolf entering the barn when Im still 40m away. When I get in the barn, Wolf isnt there. Me: Where the hell'd you go? The only response I get is the POP POP POP of his M4 outside of the barn. I quickly raise my M4 and run towards the direction of the shooting. Then before I get close, I see a death message. I was scared to look, but then I see it sais "Denni was killed by Wolf with weapon M4A1".....I was so relieved. I missed the gun fight, but Im just glad we won. So, even if the bandit gets the total drop, doesnt mean he will win!

I keeped getting kicked from my game and it sais "Script restriction #40". It seems to only happen in building too. Any ideas why?

Bandits dont always win. Heres my expeerience where the bandit got the surprise attack and I won. I had Camo clothing, M4A1, and about 20 mags for it. My friend had camo clothing, M4A1 W/ a scope, and a lot of mags too. And Misc. gear like NVG's, and other stuff. So to make a long pre story short, I helped out a old friend, named Wolf, got him a car, and we frove towards NWAF. I was in my tan off road jeep, while he tailed me in his UAZ. We were just north of Cherno. Since Im first, we go up a small hill going about 70 MPH, when I get to the top, another off road roars right by our cars...Weird when you nearly get in a head on collision when their are 6 others on the server. Anyway we just keep driving. Then disaster strikes. Wolf types out, "Sturkid (thats me), my tire is down come pick me up" so I did. He get in. I typed out "I have 2 wheels in the back, get out and repair the tire.".Then he replied "Sniper"..I drove madly. But then 30 seconds later, my tire is shot out and we dart towards the nearby woods about 100m away. We make it into the woods and run for about 2 minutes. We then decide we cant leave all of our stuff behind. We crawl back up. Slowly. We see our my car about 75m away. We also see a barn to the west about 100m away. We decide to check it out. I say "Wolf, Ill take the left side, you take the right". But before we entered the barn, we saw a dead zed body laying dead half inside and half inside the barn. But we clear the barn and its all empty...Wolf heads back to my car to fix it up and I go South to check out a non interable house barn looking building. I get there and crouch down. Nothing. Then BOOM a pop of a DMR...My screen blinks black and white quickly, but I lose little blood and Im ok. I run straight to the barn and Wolf does too. By the time Wolf enters the barn, Im still 50m away. When I enter the barn, Wolf isnt there. Then I hear the Pop Pop Pop of his M4 about 10 times. By the time I locate the direction of the fireing, I see a death message come up...I didnt want to look at it, but IM glad I did. Wolf killed the SOB. Close call. So that sniper had the jump on us, we didnt know where he is, he so couldve killed me that one time very easily, but we still found and killed that bandit.

Would re installing dayz commander mess up the stuff i have on one of the serevers i play on?

I need some expert bandit advice. I am not a bandit, but I need to kill. I will tell the story. I was waiting at NWAF for some people I was going to help. I then found a car and asked on the chat whose car it was. Then 3 guys came out, one shot and killed me. I had my ghille suit, DMR, and some basic supplies. Not a bad loss, but I want revenge. We eventually decided to meet up, but instead he met up with another of his enemies and his gang killed him. I was lucky that wasnt me. So this guy is solid. He doesnt say where he is. Any good bandit advice to kill him?

OK. They are a sniper team too. Actually we just killed them. Me and my buddy both had DMRs and were waiting in one of the towers in NWAF. Two of them in their white car pulled up. My buddy sniped the main guy that killed me and I killed his friend. Mission accomplished. Thanks anyway.

Why am I banditing? Because someone stole my car and half my guns. I will kill anyone I see until I get it back. Another good reason why people bandit.

I have a couple questions. 1. If I am logged out, would my car stay in the same spot (Unless stolen) for a couple weeks? Forever? A few days? And does it matter how far away from it I am when I log out? 2.Same thing as question 1, except with a tent. Will it stay forever if Im logged out? Thank you!

So if i leave my tent in a spot and go offline for a week, it will still be there, i just cant move it?
