Im not a pro at DayZ Commander, but I know that DayZ commander is not what it was. There last update, I believe ruined itself, and they have yet to fix it. Not to mention they do not respond back to requests for help submitted to them. Either re download DayZ Commander or try DayZ launcher. I honestly don't like the set up of DayZ launcher compared to Commander, but hey, it works.

Hey ya'll. My friend and I recently purchased an overpoch server, and have an issue. In DayZ Commander, our server only shows up with the greyed out IP address of the server, instead of having the name of it showing up. We submitted a ticket to our hosting company, SurvivalServers, but they haven't gotten back to us. Without the name showing up, we wont get any players, and with no players, we wont have a server, so if anyone here can help, that would be great. Thank you!

I have recently entered a war with a group of bandits. I am going to share some true events here. I sometimes may refer to sleeping as logging out. I figure if I say things like that the story will be more interesting. Day One- It was a bright morning as I was returning from a looting run from the North West Airfield. I was heading back to my base. A 50 by 50 meter area blocked off by H barriers, barbed wire, and tank traps around half the area as I was out purchasing my tank traps to finish the job. Inside belonged a UH, Littlebird, and multiple Hmmvs with a set of safes locked inside a small wood building. On My way back, I stumbled upon a little bird. Upon inspection, the bird only needed scrap metal to become flyable. Luckily, I had some. I went to the back of my pink SUV, when a rain of M4 bullets shot down upon me. Acting quickly, I ran to the other side of the vehicle and bandaged my deep wounds. I examined one of my tires had been blown out, so I swiftly ran away, dodging bullets until I reached my base and waited in a M240 nest, awaiting him to have followed me. After a considerable amount of time, I realised it was time to move out to a broken Mi 17 chopper One kilometer from my base. I took a HMMV, and left my base to find the Mi 17 helicopter. Releasing I did not grab enough parts to fix it, I made my way back home. About 350 meters from the base, an armed UH came thundering from the sky, unleashing a horde of bullets unto my base, devastating it. I had to sit back and watch, as my M4A3 would never hit the roaring bird. After it had done its job, I examined the damage. Everything dead. The only things left in my possession were my safes, and one loan little bird which managed to survive the attack. I then slept...Plotting my revenge. Day Two- (Soon to be added)

Recently, when I have a good connection from 50-120 ping, I have been uncontrollably laggy in the DayZ Mod. I turned my settings to very low, re logged many times, but nothing worked. So I ran a scan with winzip, and it said I had like over 24000 issues on my computer. I figured wow, this must be bad, so I payed them and its fixed like 18000 issues so far. Will fixing all these issues make my computer and DayZ less laggy? Id imagine it would, since Im fixing so many issues. My computer wasnt made to be a gaming computer, but DayZ worked so much better months ago.

I know doing this wont fix my ping, I was wondering if doing this would make me less laggy.

I was looking at DayZ civilian, and it looks cool. From what I read it has skyscrapers, tons of zombies, more weapons, car radios, and a lot more. So I started downloading it on DayZ Commander, but then I noticed there is ONE server! Why is there only one server? Did everyone pack up to Epoch because it is the best mod out there? Almost all the mods have about 1-4 servers each. Some have none.

Alright, so usually when I have an issue, persistence is key. It will usually fix itself, but it isnt this time. So I join my usual server, go to the lobby alright, click Ok to join. Then it loads up like normal, until the very end. It will say the usual "Character data received from server", and right after that it usually will go to the game. But no. I got stuck at that loading screen and the numbers in the bottom left get stuck at 3. Yes, my game is up to date. Maybe I just have to be more persistent. Any help is appreciated.

Ill try a different server, but people are still on my usual one so I dont think its that.

Looked it up, but didnt find much. What are some good solo player role playing ideas? Ive been full bandit, looting and stealing, Ive been hero helping everyone, Ive been a trader, which didnt work out well, Ive role played being a full military person, and role played being a normal survivor-hunting rifle, rely on hunting, looting small areas, etc... I need new ideas of what to do on DayZ.

I like the idea. Any others??

Two things. First off, a month or a month and a half ago, I died as my character a male, and when I respawned, I respawned as a girl. I went to the homepage and checked my default character, when I got there, my character was still shown as a male and I pressed "Set as default character". But to this day it hasnt changed back to a male. Whenever I play I am stuck as a girl. Maybe I wouldnt mind it...but the chick is ugly, even for a computer game. Is this a known bug? Can I fix this? I want my character to be a guy. Second question-Are there vehicles or tents yet?

So I've always made my bases in the far north, but they always get raided by the people who spend hours looking for bases, just in the past hour by base got destroyed and everything stolen. I'm done with the north. Down at the bottom left of the map, I'm thinking about moving my base there. To the west of Kamenka and a little bit north off the coast. I've never been down in that area and don't know what anyone would. Is this a good base location?

The odds of someone reading this being on the server I play on which has at most 20 people on at a time is very slim.

Ive been loving the game, and for the first time I haven't died for a while and successfully looted NWAF and NEAF. I have my nice M4 and a backpack full of food and water. Plenty of Ammo. Nice clothes. The only thing I really lack is med. supplies. Feeling so accomplished. Now, Im just bored. I dont know what to do. Does anyone have an endgame that they do when they have all they need, except for being a bandit? Id help random people, but its a difficult thing to do with side chat. I have just been playing the mod a lot. In Epoch, theres always something to do.

Hello. I have a few questions. First off, almost every single server I go on is always night time! I enjoy it sometimes but, at 2:00 this afternoon, I went on a New York server (I live in New York) and it was night time in the game. Are most servers just night time, or should I look more? Secondly, What is the best PvP gun? I have an M4, but dont know if I should go looking for the Mosin. Thirdly, how do I refill mags with a 300 bullet ammo box? Lastly, with the gas canister and portable cooker ( I dont know if thats what its called), what can I cook with it? And how do I set the cooker up? Thank you!

Hello. I have a couple questions. First off, I have a 45 magnum and about 40 .45 bullets. How do I actually shoot the bullets? I equipped my 45 magnum, and when I tried to fire, it just clicked, so I tried putting the ammo and the gun together, but that didnt work. Secondly, how come I have searched NEAF 6 times now and many firestations atleast 5 times, and have found no other gun besides the 45 magnum? I figured Id find an M4 by now. Where should I be looking? Thanks, CPP

Actually I have some airsoft gear like on DayZ. Makes me feel special. Unfortunately, most zombie ops only take place at Halloween unfortunately.

I was on a PvE Only server. Got killed by a guy in Cherno supermarket within 8 minutes of playing.
