Elektro hospital out of interest?

I opened up ports on my router and it seems to have fixed it (although I've been playing fine up until a few days ago)

I'm getting the same as him. My pings is nice and low (confirmed by me playing others games, and my mates seeing mine). The other day it only happened on 1 server, tonight it happened on every one I tried. This has only started the last few days with me, no idea why....and like I said everything else is fine.

I've spawned near it a few times

Being able to put your face on your character would be great, unless anyone knows of a way to do it?

I've recorded a few videos and went to upload them, and when I was watching the first one to upload you couldn't hear my mic audio. You can hear the player in game, and my mate on ventrilo but not me. You can hear me when I play it on windows media player, but not on media player classic. I think it's something to do with the audio channels but dunno how to fix it! I used DxTory to record it by the way. Anyone know ho to sort this? Cheers!

Oh and everything works fine when I play on windows media player.....when I use classic I can see multiple audio channels and if I switch I can hear me only...just need to find a way of combining them!

I can't find anything on this specific problem, not even any hints on software to use. =/

I only seem to get it when I go between cherno and elektro ...nowhere else.

Is there a way to play on US servers is you're in the UK? I noticed a while back mine were all local.

Hi there, So I just got my own server and had some fun doing up a vehicle. I'd like to restart the server so I can put an admin password on it but I'm scared I'll lose my car. Does restarting do this or will it be safe? Thanks in advance!

I see a lot of (frankly justified) moaning about hackers here and it got me thinking to my encounters in the past, and one really shone for me seeing as the guy was...well really nice! I'd only been playing the game a few days with a mate and we came to that petrol station/industrial area west of Elektro. We were getting overwelmed by zombies and ran into the petrol station building to take cover...about to run out of ammo we thought we were done for. Suddenly, a guy with a Ghillie suit and LMG just runs in and stares at us, we S*** outselves but then he yells "GET DOWN" and starts taking out the zombies coming in. He leads us out the back to safety and says there might be some ammo in a warehouse so we part ways. We then a few minutes later could hear a thunderous rattling of gunfire, and saw on the hill NW of elektro firing with tracer rounds into the city. He'd also lit the whole place up with flares (was night) and god knows how many zombies running up the hill getting mowed down. We were obviously gobsmacked and tried to go into the city quietly to loot. We got in a high value resident and heard walking around...we issued a friendly warning since we were noobs but to our suprise it was our friend again! He said hi and left. we were about to leave when he said he'd left a suprise for us on the ground floor... silenced M4s and silenced pistols. We were amazed, we had a little shoot with our new toys and went to the supermarket to get better bags...to which he left another gift...NVGs and a quad bike. We loved it and thanked him a lot (not realising he was a hacker seeing as we'd only just started playing). We proceeded to make it a couple hunred metres before crashing the quad and killing us both =p Question is, obviously hacking is a real pain in the arse but can 'Robin Hood' type figures be justified? Probably not, but was interested if anyone else had any experiances similar and their views on this situation.

Hi!!! I used to play a few months ago, but ended up moving house and was without internet for a month and didn't bother getting back into it. Now I've decided to start playing again once I get home ('m away currently) but noticed theres quite a few maps now. I only played Chernarus before, and to be honest can't really be bothered with it anymore. Just wondering which of the newer maps are worth playing (such as high player population, playability etc) in your guy's humble opinions? Also, any word on when the standalone is out? Cheers!!!

I'm not aware of Day Z commander, will look into it. Also, are these invisible blood sucker things on Taviana?

Hmm...my 8 GB quad core chugged sometimes in crazy situations (on highest settings)....although I'm starting to think that was lag now...havent played in a few months might be better when I try tonight though

Checked out them both on day z db....Taviana looks really good! Whats that bridge like....is it a warzone? Vehicle spawn looks...insane hah! My mate said there's a map that nukes now? Whats that about?!?!?
