I've only ran into 1 bunch (we think) of hackers, they just tried toying with us but never killed us. They started off playing porn, then just kept quoting batman at us, but their VOIP was like the were stood right next to us, no matter where in the town we went. Actually got it recorded

Ok so starting to get a bit annoyed with people moaning about being shot. I'm assuming that these people didn't play the mod so figured I'd let them in on a little secret.... ...ZOMBIES CHANGE EVERYTHING. Don't get me wrong, you still had bandits running about, but for me personally a majority of encounters weren't instant gunfights. Sure quite a few started nice then escalated, but the fact a gunshot in the towns/cities would mean a zombie orgy will hit you very quickly. Try to run, other zombies see and take chase. Any snipers now see a massive sign pointing at you saying SHOOT ME when you have a small horde chasing you. Zombies add a whole new level of player interaction because of this. Now the running through buidings trick won't work in the SA to slow them down, you could find yourself being trapped inside a house being munched. My point is, the addition of increased zombie numbers makes you weigh up your options a lot more. Suddenly taking out a bambi or a guy with say just a pistol has dangerous consequences. And by the way, I'm dead against bandit skins being implemented back in. For me, the excitement was not knowing where your next encounter is going. Sure it was a pain in the arse when somebody would deceive you and kill you....but that's DayZ! I find I only get annoyed when I die through a glitch rather than players these days.

I miss choppers. Rinsing crash sites at night was so easy, especially far north they'd be so easy to spot! Saying that, I loved the few times I went down large hills on a bike....especially since the brakes would never help! Nice casual country ride to stary was always fun =D I reckon boats should be put in first, and better ones than the mod. Maybe a few more little islands for camps, far enough to make swimming a real ballache.

Yeah, not every blow will make you bleed with better gear (unless it's a bug of some sort). Working on the techniquie me and f1ack suggested really improves your ability to fight these off with crap weapons

I was using dxtory but would only get lagless gameplay if graphics were on low. Could only tolerate it for a week and had to bump back up to high and stop recording. Shame theres no software for radeon cards like this, was gonna get a new card in a few months anyway looks like Nvidia will be getting my money!

The trick is to act like a matador. Let them run at you, strafe and pull up on it's side. Hit with axe, repeat if needed. I rarely get hit and can kill zombies with the regular axe using this method

10 minutes is more than enough, I'm in and out quick as possible....been killed too many times in the past being greey.

So me and a mate were raiding Elektro hospital for supplies and I see this guy running across the city making louds of noise. Wanted to have some fun with him but was worried he was going to rush us (we'd just done a round trip to the airfield and didn't fancy losing our stuff)

I feel like I should point out we hunt bandits in cherno/elektro. I find killing newspawns fairly pointless since there's nothing to gain, however I've rushed players (with a bit of 'hard targeting'), knocked them out, taken their gun and killed them and didn't want to risk it here. He didn't half make me laugh though, actually think I encountered him again later on too after we found a guy sniping in a building (my mate got taken out in the battle unfortunately!)but the guy ran off when he saw me

Personally I kill armed but leave melee and unarmed alone. I don't mind giving a new player a hand though if I can't find any armed players to kill....but I think most of us has taken a few bambis out for sniping practice when you first get the long range scope =p Feel free to share your opinions!

Only as a extremely rare spawn on a crash sight maybe, otherwise no.

Zombies encourage co-operation. i always thought twice about killing on the mod because you'd have a swarm on you within 10 seconds. I usually kos any armed player, but thats all there is to do once you're sorted gear wise.
