We are a dedicated team of admins committed to ensuring a pure experience on our server. We take scripting and combat logging very seriously and enact on incidents of each accordingly. As for the server, here are some features... 24/7 Daytime with No Rain and No Fog - It really is always sunny in DayZ. Extra Buildings - including barracks, hospitals, fire stations, markets, and etc. Animated Helicopter Crashes - that crash and burn live on the server Auto Refueling - using the “Refuel” option in your scroll wheel menu at gas stations. Towing and Heli Lifting - Tow vehicles or lift them with helicopters Remove Parts from Vehicles - to use on other vehicles or to mess with other players! Custom Antihack - ensuring virtually no nasty scripts are able to be run on the server. In the event that someone is able to cause trouble, the server backs up every 30 minutes and we can roll back anytime. Server Events - held semi-regularly by admins. Due to the AI being buggy and generally just sucking, we have removed it from the server. We are looking into other AI options for the future. In the meantime, we have added an Armory on Klen Hill, with some barracks and a medical tent. Come join us, we are looking forward to not being DDoSed anymore. :)

It's just something we're trying, if we find people start to play on the server and want rain, we'll put it in. To a fairly large degree we are player suggestion friendly and in the past, that configuration got us players. I don't know whether it will now, that remains to be seen...

I formatted my system today and decided to install the copy of Windows 8 I had kicking around. So far so good, DayZ started right up and I played for a while with no issues. I believe it likely is some sort of weird system issue, whether user-caused or not. I could be wrong but formatting seems to have worked for me anyway...

I uninstalled as many programs as I could, still no dice. At first it'll connect and I can play for a few minutes but eventually crashes with that error. I am going to wipe my system drive and reinstall Windows today. I'll post to let everyone know how it goes.
