You got DayZ off amazon? If you mean Arma II well, make sure it's Combined Operations and then go to download on DayZ.com then download Sixlauncher or DayZ Commander (I prefer Six)

I hope it stays to the computers, a console will cost you £200 which is cheap but you can get a decent computer for £600 that can game, surf the web (don't bring up the Xbox's and ps3's excuse of a web), Steam, store media files, have several screens and after 5 or so years the PC won't be completely outdated. Then again I want to see how that Steam Box works.

I don't think so, they will probably just keep it as it is and if, for example, you're reporting it might be broke into "DayZ SA Reports" and "DayZ Mod Reports".

well then, I've said this before today :P but this is a really good PC if you're on a budget: https://www.vibox.co.uk/gaming-pcs/mid-gaming/vibox-apache I've seen many laptops dearer yet the performance on this dekstop should stand Arma II and if you want something upgraded even more there is a customize button near purchase.

Xbox mics are the wrong size, pick one up with the pink jack or USB end.Edit: You can get one from any electronic shop for £10 or less. (probably be crap quality but if you want decent you're gonna have to spend and ffs don't go to poundland)

Lets say you didn't download fake hacks, have you downloaded like a frame rate increaser or anything along them lines? Edit: If you did download fake hacks, say so. Honesty has a better chance to help you.

Don't bother then, this is an alpha mod running of off Arma II. Part of Arma II was to make it easy to run scripts which makes it easy for script kiddies to get into DayZ. Edit: Wait for the SA to be released if it's such a huge issue to you, not meaning to be offensive just a tip. :)

I'd rather wait myself, what if the Sa beta (or alpha, idk) is at a to early stage and ruins the game for the player and by the time it's finished (and awesome) you've already made your mind up. -
Read other posts, some servers have them disabled.

Inb4graveyard. 1. This aint a game, it's a free alpha mod. 2. As you said, DayZ have nothing to do with Global Bans. 3. BattlEye was picked because it's default for Arma II, the game you did buy 4. They don't get money (I don't think) 5. BattlEye never makes mistakes, you either downloaded something dodgy or hacked 6. If you bought Arma II and can't play why complain to DayZ?
