  3. The saying "shooting fish in a barrel" could be applied to pre-1.7.1, with survivors with Makarovs on the coast. Now the saying should be "shooting pigs in a bucket" since we have no way of defending ourselves. The mod is going downhill, Rocket needs to add back the Makarov with 2 or 3 clips. I've decided not to play again until they fix this. I might be a whiny carebear, but most people who defend it just don't want to admit that their hastily posted comments were wrong. Edit: While Rocket is "trying things out", I'm still spawning in the middle of nowhere with all my items wiped. Yeah, it might be in alpha, but this is a mod, not a game. He should be fixing bugs before adding shitloads of content.

    Well, you did try and ruin our friendly rep. by saying we shot at you. Maybe a simple misunderstanding, I don't know. All I know is that we try our best to identify friendlies, which in a world like this, is deadly.

    We play on US 10 when in groups. Also, we don't have an outpost on US 85. Can we have some evidence before you try and ruin our reputation? Yes, Walking Militia is friendly, but if you do not respond to "Friendly?" You will be shot, we are not idiots looking to die.

    Stop logging out in highly-visited buildings so that your next thread isn't,about getting killed seconds after logging in. Seriously though, don't log out in buildings and you'll be fine. Why is this in the cheating section?

    Friendly zombie town

    Really? Friendly zombies? Really? Why don't we add cupcakes and ponies while we're at it. This,has to be the most absorb suggestion yet.
  10. Sneaking around zombies is easy enough, all this does is make it easier. Right now, you have to be patient to get the loot, crawl and slow walk passed zombies. What you want is a fun little animation you can play with, whilst also making getting past zombies easier. What if I don't want to look like a zombie while slow walking? Am I now forced to zombie walk? You're carrying a gun, what happens to that gun when you do your cute zombie walk?
  11. So, basically, this is supposed to support teamwork, directly or indirectly. Well, sorry to say, but this is a horrible idea. ALL items the player has touched will respawn, unless picked up by another player? So, a hard working looter of your team dies, he has mixed in his loot at your imaginary-teams camp. Now, you have to manually go through the items and pick every single one up, to ensure none despawn when he gets back. No thank you. Spawning you far from where you died is pointless, since all you have to do is hit "respawn". I don't see the harm in looting your own body, really, where is the harm in it? You still have to hike to your body AND if a bandit killed you, hope he didn't take your stuff and if zombies killed you, kill the horde that is now munching on you. I recently lost all my stuff due to the server wiping EVERYTHING I had, yet people are worrying about bandits and own-body-looting. Fix the major bugs, worry about small things later.

    Me Or We need Pistol

    Everyone speaks of realism, yet what kind of survivor has a flashlight, painkillers, and a bandage? Not a surviving one, that's for sure. Realism would be a guy with a pistol and 2-3 mags and basic supplies. Bandits will be bandits, once they get a gun, expect them to kill just to kill. I was killed with only a flashlight, being chased by zombies with another survivor. The sniper killed us both just to kill us. This might be fun for the few, but I have talked to others ingame and most do not like it. Bring back the meager supplies and a Makarov with 2-3 mags, not 6 like before.

    And to respond before-hand to the people saying "hur, crawl around, it's super stealthy", no actually, it's not. Zombies seem to have resumed spawning in buildings and one was even guarding a door to a house, just sitting there not moving. I agree with everyone saying that since you know you will respawn with no weapon or supplies, you will be more inclined to shoot on sight.

    I teamed up with some guy just east of elecktro. We accidentally aggro'd a zombie and with no weapons, we had to run, attracting other zombies. We ran up a steep hill and down it, still the zombies followed. We ran into elecktro, flashlights on, yelling "friendly" on direct com. We were both sniped, running from zombies. This has done nothing about banditry, only making those few bandits who kill on sight even more powerful. They kill so they can brag about it on "bandit campfire", spruce up their stories and say we had NVGs and M4s. All this has done is silenced the big-mouthed care bears who get shot repeating the same thing over and over again. Give back the Makarov, but with 2 or 3 clips, give back the, meager supplies of beans and water, this new update has helped nothing except forcing peace into people's faces by giving them no weapon.
