TheDesigner replied to preparationh's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yeah, there is something wierd about your rain, but I don't think it's anything you did. -

TheDesigner replied to rosaparxxx's topic in DayZ Mod Gallery
The guy didn't even swing back, must of been a real challenge. -
What sort of files on the local computer can get me in trouble?
TheDesigner replied to Renan Ruivo's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I have had friends globally banned for trying to install Lingor Island. BE has pretty shitty customer support too. -
Hero Skin won't stay.(humanity problem)
TheDesigner replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
I also have this problem. My humanity never stays above 5000, when I relog it is always +4500. I get my humanity legit and don't farm it, so it needs to be fixed. -
DayZ Videos that everyone should know
TheDesigner replied to Konfuzius (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I can already see someone posting "MAI LETS PLAY IS RELY GUUD!" So far, all these videos are really good, lets keep it that way. -
Those tricky bandits, they're getting sneakier every day.

TheDesigner replied to Lone Raider's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
All of these are your own fault. You put too much trust into people. -
My bro got me banned [BAN APPEAL]
TheDesigner replied to aligatorz's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
My pet rabbit is quite the hacker, I never leave him alone with my laptop, if I do, I might come back to CIA files. -

Check out this d-bag scammer on steam
TheDesigner replied to hohlraum's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Does he want you to download something? Because although it's pretty sketchy, I don't see a scam. -
I remember when I first started DayZ. I don't remember the exact build #, but it was close to/before they added tents. I was a loner who, at first, was a KoS guy, pretty much a bandit. This was before Scripties, duping, or spawn camping. It was, the good 'ole DayZ. I was a bandit until I joined The Walking Militia. I was one of the first to join their ranks and I've never regretted it. Playing friendly was so much more fun than shooting everything that moves. I remember our first meet-up. We met up at the Balota Med camp and farmed it for around 2 hours. We all geared up with AKs and M4s (back then, this was geared up, legendary gear) and we headed North for more adventures. Once we got more members, we started farming the NWAF. We weren't worried about AS50s, M1017s, L85s, Server hoppers, hackers, or even DMRs. Our biggest worry was someone actually running into us. That day, I found a M249 saw with 2 clips and a M4A1 CCO. I thought both were the best guns ever and gave the CCO to someone else. NVGs, GPS, or any of that common shit didn't even exist to me back then. I was, in my mind, as geared as I was going to get. Now, WM runs into camps with 4 L85s, 17 NVGs, 20 Grenades, multiple AS50s and M1017s, and just a whole bunch of duped shit. I'm not innocent ethier, I've taken things out of tents and not saved it, knowing it will appear next server restart. But now, it's just gotten out of hand. Every person who gets killed has a damn GPS, NVG, and AS50. I remember raiding a big camp and the thing we got excited about was one DMR and M24. We didn't even know about duping so they were given to our snipers, not to every member. This is pretty much my story + story of how DayZ has changed for the worse, not the game itself, but the people who play it. There really does need to be a database wipe.. Tl;dr DayZ has changed.
-
*more sighs* I'm not asking you to rate my story, it's more of a "this is how DayZ changed" than "this is my fan fiction". But hey, 1/10 is good. I like this version too, the hero skin was a good edition, so I think I'll stay. "Good 'Ole DayZ" atleast quote me right. I'm not QQ'ing, it's more nostalgia than crying. But, thanks for the feedback.
-
Are you expecting praise? Because the thing I hate more than a bandit is a coward combat logger.
-
*sigh* Will you please read the god damn story before posting? It's not even about a database wipe, it's just a story of DayZ in it's best state and how unusual things were back then that are now common in DayZ today. PS I've been a member for 3 months longer than you and have more than double the posts you have. So, you can fuck off now. This is not your usual QQ story about how a hacker killed me and a DB wipe is needed immediately, it's a story. Most people who have commented do not tell me to fuck off and do far the only people who have, have not even read the OP and are just looking to troll. Like you.
-
Never said games aren't supposed to change, what a silly assumption. Just like how COD4, in the beginning, was a regular FPS with no quick scoping, but in about 3 months it went to shit with the MLG. But, the game shouldn't change for the worse, glitches and hacks shouldn't be a part of the game, which right now, they are.
-
Once a month, once all their minstrel cycles lined up, zombies and bandits wouldn't be our only worries.
-
Obviously you didn't since I mention a wipe at the end and nowhere in the beginning or middle. I hate how I have to argue with a troll, since your empty skull only sends and doesn't receive, but it's for my and everyone else's amusement. You keep mentioning me saying a DB wipe will affect hackers, even though I never said this and know it won't. But if you are saying taking away all the duped guns from supers won't affect them, which you are, then you are truly an idiot, which you are. The supers would have to re-find all of the guns again, which would take a considerable amount of time. Although that's not what this thread was about, your sorry excuse for a counter-argument is poorly put together and contains traces of a prepubescent teen.
-
Did you even read the OP, or can your short attention span/4th grade reading skills not handle it? It has nothing to do with hackers, only duping. Yes son, a DB wipe would put off duping for awhile.
-
Exactly, atleast you will have to find the tents and guns again. You could probably catch a few hackers spawning in AS50s a few minutes after the wipe, since they're not too smart and the chance of finding a crash site near the coast is very, very low.

TheDesigner Member since May 27, 2012 Why don't you take a seat next to him, son? When you joined the website had nothing to do with how long you have been playing. I joined atleast 2 weeks after I started playing, maybe less.
-
Another thing, people like this guy really annoy me. It's like listening to a recording. "something wrong with the mod? Wait for the standalone" Well no, I won't wait for the standalone, DayZ is fine with me and I don't need the standalone.
-
Funny thing is, someone will probably still kill you.
-
Doubt it, the sniper who killed you probably didn't move an inch after he killed you. Probably server hopped too. I actually doubt that both of those guys were there when you arrived, the NWAF has become a server hoppers paradise.
-
I'm stumped on what you starred out.. I don't really care fore the Hacker report, since it's +1 to the millions of others out there. But, what did you censor in the title? "***er"... Fuker maybe? Or Asser?
