that's actually what the group I am part of does, hunts bandits, helps friendlies, and thrive. We do all three pretty well, although we enjoy the first the most.

There used to be a point: Thrive and survive. But when everyone is thriving and surviving, what's the point? I remember when the average survival time dropped from 3-4 hours to 30 minutes within a week.. good times. Basically, DayZ has no point anymore.

You can make the loot pile anywhere, it doesn't have to be 200-300 meters away, it can be at the door. I do it at Stary and NWAF all the time. The wait can be 5 minutes sometimes.

I typically don't group up with people without mics, you're all ethier untrustworthy or unreliable. Stopping and typing for 30 seconds at a time is bothersome.

No, don't use them. Battleye won't ban you, but server admins will. You are knowingly exploiting the game by using hacked weapons, even if you didn't hack them in. I could give two shits about camos, but if you knowingly use hacked weapons, you are just as bad as hackers, you just don't have the money to buy their little script packs and spawn stuff.

Get rid of GPS, NVGs, and L85. All require batteries, you all want a realistic mod, so these dont fit. They'd run out of batteries within a month of infection.
