Automatic blood regeneration would just make it so that you don't need to use teamwork as much. Yes, you do regen. blood in real life, but it takes a while and if its at, say, 1000 blood (1/12 of all blood), you'd be... A.) Dead B.) Too weak to even eat jello.

Everyone is inspired by games and taking ideas from other games to add on to your own isn't a bad thing, else we'd have monopolies for modern FPS'es.

ArmA runs on (forgive me if I get this wrong) GPU mainly, so that is probably your issue.

Screenshot it. You're probably just joining the same server over and over again.

You will be kicked from servers if your face paint is complex/on. So, if you do get kicked, don't worry, it's not bannable, some servers just have it disabled.

Some guys go around searching for the name "John Connor" on DayZ commander, join the guys game with names like Terminator1 and Terminator2 and so forth, and hunt the guy.

Ever heard of whispering or giving signals? Since DayZ lacks these features, the 3rd party "exploitation", as few people call it, makes up for it. Give me radio channels, frequencies, character talk volume, and a extensive list of hand signals, I'll use the ingame VOIP. I feel like I am repeating myself over and over again, because the people against the 3rd party program aren't reading the entire thread. Please read the thread before posting because most of your concerns/arguments are already answered/countered. -

So when I'm knocked out in game, I'm not allowed to talk in real life? That's taking it a bit far. DayZ isn't the only game where people use 3rd party programs to talk to friends, DayZ is also not the most realistic game, everyone needs to stop treating it like its life. -

It would, but it's just not realistic, in a sense of playing the game and still having fun. Plus, I like to talk to people while playing DayZ who aren't even on my server/not playing the game. Saying I can't talk to anyone who isn't in my server because its "cheating" is ridiculous. (I know you're not saying its cheating) -

Without an ingame radio, using a third party to make up for it isn't cheating at all. You're just using another program to replace a missing mechanic. Plus, being able to talk to friends while playing a game is hardly cheating. That means I couldn't talk to someone sitting next to me, because that's an "unfair advantage". -

I had the same issues and I did what Smash said to do and it worked. You'll still get in in the area you are directly ontop of, but it's better than snow effect.

I agree with the whole party radio system, but the rest of the party ideas are just making the game more arcade-y. In the SA, there will be loads of clothes, so you'll have to have good memory and communication to know what your friend looks like and where he is. Good communication is key and we shouldn't cater to people with bad communication. Maybe on a Recruit server, but I still despise the idea of adding a sort of sixth sense to people and they somehow know their enemy is on the server (world) or their friend is the guy running down the street. -
