Wasn't actually a kill but anyway. I was at stary had just finished looting hadn't got anything special just a few more rounds for my m16. I was walking around the edge about to leave to go to NWAF when I spotted on sidechat someone offering a unarmed player in stary a ride. So I turned around went back in and heard the car honking it's horn. I ran around it with the cover of some buldings then poked my head out and shot the driver in the chest. He passed out and I stole the car and hid it in the woods. But the best bit of this was the driver getting really angry at the unarmed player saying he had shot him which started a huge arguement that lasted around 30 minutes.

Yeah this is the only game that's only made me actually shake irl even horror games don't do that aswell as this does

Hello and as the title suggests I would like to make a suggestion for putting diaries into the standalone. What would they do? A diary would be something that everyone spawns with and is impossible to steal unless the person is dead. Everyday that passes the player could make a entry of around 1000 characters and then that page would be done, you would only be able to write in a page after a completed day. So for example when you character reaches day 1 you can make your entry for day 0. Why? These would add something to surviving for long periods of time and would give the player a sense of accomplishment when they have reached the end of another day. These could also be quite interesting to read for example you find the body of a dead player in the woods and sit down and read his story of his 3 days surviving on dayZ. How would these work? These would be very simple to use. You would spawn in automatically have a space in your tool belt (I think it's called) and then click on it to flick through pages each with the day number on the top. If you are able to write in it then it could have a little sign on it or something and if not then you would just be able to read what you have already written. Although these seem trivial I think they could really add something to the immersion of the game and help some of you show offs let people know how many days you survived. TL;DR diaries are cool.

If this was put in I think type A and type B would be enough otherwise people would just commit suicide until they got type AB so they could have any bloodbag and people would also kill themselves if they got type O -

I like the ghillie idea but i'm not so sure about realism with the crowbar idea surely you could shoot out the window or smash it with pretty much everything but i suppose it would make having a car more enjoyable -

I think this would be good for the stand alone when they've changed the spawns around so there isn't fresh spawns jumping off bridges hoping the the para drop

So after my last one broke (it was £10 so no suprises there) is there any chance of getting a headset with good sounds a good mic and will have a long life if treated well for £30? A link to one would be greatly appreciated

2. Most take more bullets than you listed. The crossbow takes 3 shots if you don't include bleeding, machine guns (i'm assuming you mean sub machine guns?) only do around 900 blood damage each so they take more than 10 bullets to kill, snipers already take that amount of shots to kill unless you're counting in the 50. cals which would make it unrealistic if they took 2 shots to kill. 3.What? 4.This has already been suggested and confirmed Maybe i'm the one being stupid but this thread seems pointless and doesn't make much sense.

So at the moment pain is largely unrealistic e.g you can be shot and the only thing that changes is some shaky vision that can be fixed very easily by inhaling a entire box of painkillers with no real consequences afterwards. So the first thing I would like to see in the standalone is your character showing real signs of pain for instance when he is shot or hit by a zombie a scream of pain that is loud enough to give away your position to anyone near you would be triggered depending on what weapon you were shot by so a makarov would have a lower decibel scream than say a enfield (this would also effect the visual differences but i'll get on to that later.) Another factor that would change the amount of pain you feel would be the place that the bullet hit so there would be pain hot spots on the body for instants the throat would cause much more pain to someone that the hand. The next thing is changes to the visual signs of pain which at the moment can be escaped by going into third person. But i would like to see things such as throbbing of dark colors and your third person vision becoming equally as messed up if it is left without painkillers or you have taken more pain that you can handle. Also I would like to see changes to painkillers because at the moment they're very unrealistic as there is no repercussions for taking say 100 boxes in a minute and they work stupidly quickly. So the first and something that i'm sure allot of people have spoken about is creating a durability for the boxes as it's stupid that you can only use a box of painkillers once and also if any of my ideas were implemented it would make it allot easier if you could reuse painkiller boxes. Secondly a thing I would find cool is for there to be lots of different types of painkillers that have different strengths. I could see this having lots of potential for instance if you were ill and in lots of pain you would have to make choices such as whether to take the antibiotics and the strong painkillers to stop both the illness and the pain completely and risk the chance of dying because of a deadly cocktail of drugs in your stomach or take weaker painkillers and not kill the pain completely but not have the chance of mixing dangerous drugs together So the first addition to painkillers that I think would be a good idea is to add a time for the painkillers to kick in say 5 minutes for it to stop your character crying out and then for it too slowly fix any problems with the vision. Another change to painkillers could be the chance of ODing if you take to many painkillers in a not spaced out time span I also this creating difficult choices for players such as having your character make outbursts or face the chance of ODing. Smaller side suggestions: Having to take painkillers with a drink, The chance of choking on painkillers and them being wasted, The option to take different amounts of painkillers e.g 1 or 2 at a time, Chance of having fits if in extreme amounts of pain for example a sniper to the balls. Max you wouldn't need to spend hours looking up how much of this and that to take as if you began ODing you would see side effects up until death for instance becoming very thirsty or something like that

Yeah looks pretty good to me but I have to say I dislike the 'loot on ground' as it looks very cluttered and I don't know i just don't like how that part is laid out. -

I was thinking this a couple of days ago also. I think this would be awesome and create so many options for players such as a bandit blowing a hole in the rail and the hole thing going mental and crashing
