In the SA a zombie wont be hard bit at the mo we face 25/30 zombies at most in the SA it will be more a LOT more could be 70 /80 /90 who knows plus they will follow you properly no zig zaging using, fences wont work as well as they pathfind around them better (watch the e3 vids), and they wont get stuck with trees and bushes (as much) plus they can run indoors so no escape there and they will be in the woods and away from the citys and towns and they can hit you on the run, they no longer have to stop to hit you in shot 1 or 2 zombies no problem but you woult be faceing 1 or 2 often zombies in the sa will be hard but in the way that they are ment to be hard because of NUMBERS
  2. how is see it is we have a problem Dayz playerS are split in to 2 1 side wants zombies hard and will accept any bullshit to get it the other side want zombie to be hard while still being zombies not psychic super humans if you beleave for a second that people want the game to be easy then you are a fool, that sort of person would not play a game like Dayz the big problem is it is not possable to get hard zombie that work like zombies in the mod, in the SA they are doing just that but they had to rewright most of the engine to do it if the modders go 1 way 1/2 the playes moan about the bullshit BUT if they go the other 1/2 moan that its too easy and both sides are right THE MODDERS CAN'T WIN

    hacker should be (MOSTLY) teken care of, there will be bugs but good player who understand what a Alpha is and will report pronlems is whats needed early on .

    nope once you have it you have it, you basicly get a discount for alpha testing it on release the game will be a LONG way from being finished so unless you want to be a tester wait a little to buy
  6. it is completely differant you need food and no shock and to be warm and not ill, then you're blood will increase (or something like that) food = blood is not how it will work in the SA

    why get rid of ?? there will be more maps in time the next one dean is planing inf a westen map, but why should they replace anything??] add a new on fine by me we will need it at some point but replace, thats just stupid

    this IS whats happerning there will be a back story but you will have to find it in game
  9. it is not a stupid question he dose not know what an Alpa is and has not kept up with all the news in anwser to the question it will be worst and much better at the same time, most basic things will be fixed like zombie pathfinding and doors breaking you're legs things like that but animations a loot, spawns, glitches and bugs will proberbly be worse to start with the reality is that even the devs dont know what will happen when the game is released, the only way to find out what happens when 100,000 poeple play a game is to have 100,000 people play it in short lots of things that are bad now will be fixed but there will be a whole new set of problems

    Why do people store gear?

    what he said, its good to have an m4/m16 and a AK so you can switch as and when you have ammo plus having a camp to stock up gives you something to do when you are geared up (an endgame) lastly it makes it SO much easyer to keep a car going long term as a lonewolf

    Suggestion : Simulation Game Mode

    the big problem is there would be no sever using it sever owners WANT PEOPLE TO PLAY THERE, kicking them after they die once is not a good move
  20. ok the map is the same and so are the sounds that just leaves the engine zombies suvivers animations pathfinding loot guns cars ui AI and the map has alot more in it and more interiors they started from scratch using a diferant staring engine (T.O.H not Arma 2) and striped out lots of it then created everything that makes the game dayz FROM SCRATCH it is not the mod not 1 part of the stand alone is the same as in the mod
  21. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz alpha blindness is comming in fast please remeber people this is and alpha and not a carry on from the mod but a WHOLE NEW GAME the build he was plaing was single player and only had 1 gun the AK the game IS NOT READY YET thats why we can play it yet
