Too right, I spent the first 6 hours or so of playing crawling everywhere so the zombies didn't see me, now I say "fuck you" too and slaughter them en masse just to see how big the pile of corpses gets. Don't be scared, don't cowar in a corner just get in there and blast them, just make sure you have morphine!!

Loving this server and I've pretty much given up on the other servers I used to play a lot, the server is really well set up and there is a good balance of friendly players and a Bandit/PVP elements. 2Gunz and the crew have done a great job setting it all up and keeping it hacker free, I've never seen even a sniff of hacker scum on the server, I definetly recommend a visit.

Yup, try and convince someone you know for real, I've been murdered by so called friendlies more times than I wish to recall, people will say "yeah I'm friendly lets work together" but within 10 minutes they will be eating your beans and you will be worm food, don't trust anyone most people in the game have been burnt so many times by douch bags they will shoot you on sight. I still have hope of teaming up with a "friendly" but I'm as stupid as the day is long.

I found it the same too, there are loads of good guides on how to play but my best advice is stop playing Dayz and play ARMAII for a few hours to start with and learn the skills or the core game like shooting, using maps, driving vehicles etc, if you don't and you get into Dayz the first time you find a gun you won't know how to use it correctly and the first time you shoot it you will either get killed by Zombies or another player will track you down and blow your head off, ARMA is quite a hard game to start with, the Dayz mod just makes it even harder. When you return to Dayz sort out a way to view an online map while you play, something like an android tablet or Ipad or dual screens is good. I personally find cowaring and crawling around a waste of time, I just get in there and run like hell, run around the loot spots and see whats there, loose or kill the z's and come back for it, this way you can cover a lot of ground quickly. A bike may be your best friend!

Liking this server a lot, although I've only ever found a clapped out GAZ just after I spawned which needed crushing rather than trying to fix the thing, I've found more weapons and gear than in any other server I've been in and I think your need for food and drink may be less, although I may just have become super fit in the server from all the running. Admins are friendly and helpful and there seems to be a lot of in game chat but what ever you do don't accidentally or even worse intentionally talk on side as you will be bombarded with insults and your families lives will be threatened. Never seen a hacker or a script kiddy here so good stuff.
