  1. Hello DayZ-Forum, I bought ArmaII:Combined Operations from Steam and installed DayZ using playwithSIX. I spawned at the beach, everything was fine and I got about 30 FPS. Which was akward because I can play games with even better graphics than the ArmAII-Engine with about 60 to even 100 FPS. I walked into a city and I had about 10-20 FPS there. Nothing more. I tweaked my settings, set everything to low or disabled or to high, restarted the game and I always had about 10-20 FPS, didn't matter what settings I used. So I looked for fixes and found tutorials with RAMDisk, but nah, I don't want to use my RAM as a HDD to play just DayZ... I found the fix where I had to change the ArmA2(OA).cfg and that didn't increase the FPS very much... I also checked if the settings were resetted, but no, everything was how I wanted it. I changed the view-distance in the [NAME].ArmA2(OA)Profile and that didn't help very much. DayZ laggs on low-settings and high-settings. I also used parameters to make the game run faster, no improvement. It's only when I'm in the city, when I look down to the ground, up in the sky, into the ocean or when I'm on a field I got 30-50 FPS with my custom tweak... Maybe some of you'll say that I should just leave that city, but I want to fix that issue itself. And yes, I also defragmented my HDD. Also, I KNOW that I'm not the only one with this issue... I hope you can help me. Thanks, DigitalClark.
