You're forgetting that its a MOD ARMA 2 is the base game, its bugs have been cleared (majority). Most things have been polished. Dayz MOD is an addition to the already finished product to a game. I assume you live in Australia hence the Aboriginals at the bus stop. I have also experienced some racism from these people. But seeing it doesn't affect me directly. I move on. For example. I even feel a little racist for this, I dont know why. Okay so you're Muslim and with all the propaganda and conspiracy's going on, I wouldn't be surprised if they copped at lot of racism if they were wearing their cultural clothing or people just knew where they were from. But soaking in all the insults. They head home, forget it and would like to have a break and play some good old DayZ. They hop on. Talk to some people, if they have an accent or speak a different language. Alot of the time if they are ignorant fucks, they will assume. "Ah you fuckin muslim c**t go back to your own country" etc etc. They shouldn't have to put up with that. Neither should they have to turn off and just shoot the person speaking this profanity. DayZ is all about Interaction and survival. No interaction sucks ass, and people shouldnt have to turn off VOIP just because of this.

Some people are more sensitive to racial comments than others. A game for the most part is meant to take your mind of things and give you a break from reality. You dont wanna play a game then get called racial slur's just for the accent you have or for the language you speak. And getting your own server isn't the easiest thing to maintain or handle. I wouldn't want to make a whole new server just because someone is being a fuck.

Forgive me for asking such a silly question. I havent played dayz in quite some time (since 0.48) and i have recently started playing again. I was wondering if your gear is "glued" to the one server you play on. Or is it only private hives that do this?

Is it just me or do the melee weapons suck even more ass, they say they "improved" but it does not work, I have tried using multiple weapons, I aim with my crosshair right on them, Then I aim so that the swing will hit them, but nothing. Maybe im doing something wrong so fill me in.

Why is it that when I expose myself to fresh spawns they never trust me, I'm the one exposing myself to you, and yet, you put up your first run in circles and try and knock me out, oh but everyone who is geared is out to hunt freshies. NO. You would be dead without knowing it, I would sit in the trees and shoot you, but I clearly don't want to kill you as I had exposed myself to you and many other people in the area. I am now the bigger target as it is sus that a fresh spawn and a geared person is in the street talking, people assuming "OMG HES GONNA KILL DAT FRESH SPAWN. IM A HERO AND GONNA SAVE HIM" (Say that in your head with a nerdy/lisp voice). Just appreciate what I'm doing. But on the other hand, If I have just got out of a firefight and you (fresh spawn) (and when I say 'you' I don't mean everyone is a fresh spawn)are running around with good intentions or not. You are going to die. I simply can't risk it. I prefer killing people who are more geared, who sit on lovely rooftops in berezino who circle jerk with their buddies. I'm going in for the kill, I'm doing it for a thrill, Oh I'm hoping you'll understand. I get very curious on what gear people have. Back on topic, why do freshies attempt to kill most geared people, they offer you food, water, medical supplies, a weapon or something clothing. Yet you get so f***ing greedy and try the stupidest things. Be happy, be grateful that you haven't died, or your legs are broken and you are handcuffed so you cant do anything and must wait till you starve to death. Those things have happened to me when I would try to knock people out. And I deserved it. This post has led in many different directions, I understand. But what are your thoughts on this?

Yes, but just appreciate what we do to make an effort than besides killing, WE are trying to change this by talking to freshies. We are trying to keep the roleplay alive! Yet you come here an insult me. I know they have nothing to lose but man. Can't we just take 5 seconds of your brain to process that we have spent so much hours investing into our player. I know its a game but it still impacts your feelings. I know ALOT of people having sad moments, intense moments, happy moments etc. Like when you get into a firefight, your heart pounds, your hands start sweating up, adrenaline pumps through your body knowing that you can lose everything within seconds. So if you are one of those people who try and knock everyone out you see. Please, just think.

I know, It's so hard to be a good person when everyone wants to kill. I see that there are a need for bandits but I feel as if the Dayz Community is made up of 20% nice guys and 80% bad guys. I can only dream of things changing...

Yeah its quite ridiculous how weak weapons are in this game, a swing from a crowbar would so much damage, 3 hits and you should be out if they are placed correctly. Baseball bats, you can hit people in the head so many times and the only thing that happens is they turn into a bobble head. Hopefully they get buffed.

These things are so easy to find, I could have made multiple helmets w/ visors. I personally like Helmet with a green balaclava.

Yeah, I noticed the same, plus they are so common its not funny, what supermarket has a cattle prod and a stun baton just lying around.

So at the top floor of those buildings was the infamous gun room. If un looted or ignored, a >guaranteed< weapon would spawn there. But it now seems to have changed, as I looted berezino I noticed it hadn't been looted, but yet no weapon. Curious as if someone had looted it. I have done several server hops to find out if this is true, it seems they have removed this 100% chance of a weapon spawning or Im very unlucky with the 6 servers i hopped to which had been looted and someone had taken the weapon every time. Can anyone confirm is this is true.

For me to use the fireaxe (tested on stuck zombie), I have to right up to it, aim it at its ankles and hope to jesus i kill him, Right now Im searching for the splitting axe as it can do the same things but is a 2 hit kill and i feel more comfortable with it

Thanks, I was using the firefighters axe but its just not working, ill give the pickaxe a go.
