    keybindings won't work

    HardToFindAName posted a topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting

    Hi, I downloaded DayZ this morning and have played on it a few hours. I've had several issues with the game so far, like random crashes and the inability to join certain servers, but those are minor. What's annoying is that the keybindings don't work for me. Specifically, some keybindings just don't do anything. For example, the flashlight just won't light. EVER. I have checked that it was at night, i had it equipped on screen, i saw my character holding it, but it was impossible to light up. I remapped the key to several different options, but with no luck. The same goes for the view toggle, which does not work on most servers. So far, it has only worked on one server. Is this a normal problem to have? Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks for your time.
