As other people mentioned (some in a rude way) it is a alpha. I have no idea if it's gonna be more grey, destroyed etc. Also, the map is set in summer I think, and in your picture it looks like early winter. But I agree with you, I hope it gets more greyish/the world have stopped. But I also love how it is now, time will show.

Of course I can't say I'm 100% sure. But we do almost know that the infection started from Green Mountain. And if we say the area is in a quarantine and it's not a world-scale epidemic why would the army make supply drops in a quarantine zone? Normaly for a quarantine no one may enter or leave the zone. I just don't see it "realistic" to have supply drops in DayZ, even though it is a nice idea.

I'm pretty sure they have som events in their mind. Even though this is a cool idea, I do dislike it. A airplane supply-drop would mostly be by the army, and there isn't a army anymore. The world have gone to hell, everyone is doing their best to survive. I think the idea is cool enough, but I don't see it fit in DayZ where the civilisation and the government doesn't excist anymore.

Happend to me once yea. I'm at Green Mountain (Night server) and i suddenly see some moving infront of me, 4-6 meters. I thought I was alone so i panicked at started shooting directly at him, I shot 7-9 bullets and then i could hear him shoot, 15-20 bullets more (I think) and then I die.... I'm 100% sure I was aiming directly at him. Dunno why I didn't die, but didn't think so much about it. Onwards to the next DayZ life!

Hey guys, if you played the mod you may remember the stories about Green Mountain radio tower. Unexplainable things happens there at night time and so on. There even was a big thread for supernatural stuff in dayz. Well, I really loved it, so I made a visit to Green Mountain on a night server, with pictures. Just outsite the walls, there it is. Not much resistance beside these two. (The second really scared the shit out of me.) Majestic and creepy as fuck. Of course I had to climb it! Don't know if it was me being paranoid or what, but the light started to flicker and didn't light up as much as before. Maybe just me, but still, got the creeps on me. Nice view of the stars from here Lastly I ran out from there, nothing "super natural" happend, but still creeped me the fuck out. I know all those stories from the mod was just fake or coincidences. But I really loved the stories to Green Mountain, the marching army zombies who walks in line watching over Green Mountain, sacraficing Mountain dew and so on. One thing is for sure, I'm not done with that radio tower! So, any of you guys had som fun experiences at Green Mountain?

Aw, really hoped that "urban legend" spooky stuff would happen in the SA too. Time will show! Surely as hell got spooked tonight at Green Mountain, just climbed down the ladder from the radiotower, and some guy in underpants and a axe screams over voice chat and kills me. Damn.. Oh, and it's a "Tan Tactical Shirt"

I like this idea, maybe not the "super boss zombie" idea.. But yea, something you hear roar in the middle of the woods would make it pretty epic/scarry. I remember the rumors about Green Mountain at night, and also the glowing eyes in the dark that insta-killed you in the woods.

I'm 4-5 meters away from the door into a red house.. Suddenly around the corner comes 2 guys, 1 in ghillie with an m4 and the other got a M9 SD.. They didn't see me.. The guy with the M9 turns towards me and i just empty my whole mag into their bodies.. They're both down, and I'm running to cover to reload.. I can hear the guy scream while getting eated by zombies.. They're both dead.. I've been a Lonewolf for ages, never shot someone before.. They got it all, NVG, as50, gps etc. Kinda feel bad but still, got some nice gear... Dunno if this was the right thing to do, what do you guys think?" Still remember how I was shaking and the first thing i did afterwards was taking a smoke.. Great times, great times.

Just got banned for 5-hours with the reason for an illegal weapon? I dont really know how? Found the M4A1 in NEAF and the colt in a super market? Was driving in a truck I found in the woods north of NEAF, only took 3 mags from it. Can't really see the illegal weapon here?
