Where i come from alcohol is a means of survival~ So, it makes you warmer for some time, enough to find a shelter from a rain, it is an antibiotic and it lightens pain. The obvious side effects are random slight facing direction change and floating aim which is alleviated by food and water well over your saturation meters. Coke does not help, believe me. If there are going to be fruits (apples from apple trees, for example) we could make fruit wine. And with sugar - spirits. It will require the introduction of a still to barns with some processing time to it. Alternatively Vodka is written on general stores and yet... And then there are molotovs. It's an easy to make (whiskey bottle+jerry can could produce 5, for example) grenade that can be invaluable in some situations. Not alot of PVP happens in close quarters and throwing a 'nade takes some time so there's nothing gamebreaking. It will, however, set zombies on fire and cause them to run around in rage. A quite useful tool.

Some exploration?! Besides there is the same problem as with server-hopping tents - spawning into another object/player.

Doesn't affect gameplay that much to rush in tbh. That pouch model is used for many items. -
Hosts could place scripts to answer that question. I am pretty sure 90% sentences with "server" and "?" in it should be replied with "%servername%".

Why clog the game with unneeded functions that in no way influence the gameplay? With the introduction of direct chat you'll be able to communicate with those near you and hook up via any of dozens third party friend systems.

That's a bug you are talking about. I am sure it is being looked in. Alternatively you can report it and get your gear back. -

There are servers which have it turned on. But it sure needs some tweaking to only display those near you. -

I don't see any problem with dying at a spawn since i didn't achieve anything anyway. Not that i was ever killed at a spawn. Although i see little point in spawncamping if you can just fire up singleplayer. If you logged off in a dangerous area it's your own fault. -
Some spawn zones would still be more convenient than others. This was discussed hundreds of times over. The short answer is no.

Where i come from we judge people by their actions. Simulating that in Day Z is shooting at you or not. And you still never know what a person will do. Basically what you want is holstering weapon which was already suggested. -

Hundred times yes. There could be a threshold in place at which the server removes the oldest corpse to deal with any clogging-related problems. -
So you say this isn't carebearing when in fact it promotes camping zombies with a crossbow 24/7 at some remote shack in fear of losing the accumulated bonus spawn chance. Instead zombies could just drop better loot once in a while.

1. It is implied that zombies prey on survivors, but alive one interest them much more. 2. No, zombies are alive. Not undead. 3. There may be some point to this. Certainly would give away the shooter. 4. I'd like to see player made decals in the future instead of flags on uniforms.

Except in ArmA 2 russians pour in through grozovy pass.They are counterparts of M4 and MP5 (inb4 rage). There is no need for more weapons in alpha than to cover the planned classes. -

Also Grozovy pass which is close to NWAF is the land route to Russia.
