    HD Skin Problem

You mean as in a mission that loads camo skins?

    HD Skin Problem

It is indeed. Perhaps it may be the server i'm playing on? To be able to play, I had to delete .pbo files from the BAF file.

    HD Skin Problem

Hello there. I'm having a problem with the camo skin from BAF. When I downloaded PMC, it automatically updated the survivor skins when I logged on the next time. After I downloaded BAF, it did not do so, thus the camo skin is still blurry. Does anyone know a fix to this?
  5. I was in elektro, it was dark. The server had given us night vision and a handgun. I needed blood, and this guy came around the corner and hesitantly offered to give me blood. I had a hatchet out, which is why I think he didn't kill me. Shortly after, in the hospital, I met the same guy, however this time with the gun out. He fired several shots into me with his makarov, several missing me. I aimed at his head and must have unloaded the whole clip into him. Not a minute later I bled out, right next to my first 'Hero'. Was also banned because it was a no-pvp server.

    A Short Story

I awake, and can feel myself almost sinking into the ground. I am sentient, however I have not opened my eyes, afraid of what i'll see. My clothes are wet, as well as my pack waterlogged. Perhaps that's why I was 'Sinking' into the sand. I roll over, and feel a cold air envelop my body, only assisted by my wet clothing. Finally, I open my eyes. I stand up, and slowly scan the area around me. Facing away from the coast, I can see what looks like a few farm buildings. Hungry, I slowly head toward the structures. I can make out a name on a sign closer to the settlement. Prigorodki. Russia? The ship I was assigned to was nowhere near russia. Something must have gone down. I pick up the pace, realizing it may not be so good to be out in the open while in this cold. As I get closer, I can make out slow, shambling creatures in the distance. They're humanoids.. I can tell. But.. what's gotten into them? I was determined to find shelter. Despite my sudden confusion, I push on. I'm nearing the fence now, and I reluctantly get back down on the cold hard ground and move on to the barn. Inside, I was able to find some slugs, with no shotgun around. I pick them up, just in case. I look out of the narrow window and see two more clearly enterable buildings. I exit the barn, and slowly make my way to the longhouse, ensuring that I don't alert the... whatever they are. Just as I enter, I can hear a loud, raspy yell. I look back to see one of them heading directly my way. I look around in the longhouse, and can make out a double barrel at the other end. The creature is still on my tail, and as I enter, more begin to swarm into the building. They're terrifying. I reach the shotgun, and try to pick it up off the ground. My hands are clammy, and they feel very cold. They're almost on me now, and I resolve I don't have enough time. I quickly scramble across to the third building. I check the gun on the way. My luck, it's empty. This building has odd bars in it, likely a stable and then a doorway to a smaller room. 'They' make their way into my view, though have trouble navigating through the stable bars i've put myself behind. He's ten meters away. The shotgun is open. Five meters, I load one shell and fumble the other one to the floor. Sod it, I snap the double barrel together and quickly shoulder it to fire. Not only does the one right on me drop, but so does the one behind him. There's one more, who is not shambling, but in a more creepy and disturbing crawl. He's nearing me, and I pick up the shell i dropped. I load it, and close the shotgun to hear a loud pop. Misfire. Shit. He's scrambling for my ankles, and I kick him square in the face, only to stun him. I look around. There's a hatchet in a far stable. With the crawler in between us. I back up, and try to jump over him. He gets a lucky grab, and snatches me out of the air. I topple over and smack my head right into a metal bar. My vision blurs, and I desperately kick at the thing while making my way to the hatchet. I feel my foot connect, and take this as a chance to get the hatchet. I grab it, and make my way to my feet. I bring it behind me, in a motion as if to chop a block of wood. The axe descends unto the beast, and splits his head into two. He is motionless, and I let out a gasp. I am alive. After a short rest, I make my way into the next room, hatchet in hand. I spot a rifle that directly resembles one in my father's gun-cabinet. Clearly, i'll need it. I sling the hatchet in my toolbelt, and take the rifle. Full clip, plus an extra. I make my way out of Prigorodki, heading west toward a crane i can barely see over a hill. I set a pace I can handle, and head toward the hill. I am now on the other side of the hill. The tower turned out to be a construction site just outside a massive city. Maybe here i'll come in contact with the russian military and figure out just what's going on. That's the end for now. This is a current play through i'll be documenting and dramatizing in this thread. But i'm out of town for now and away from my computer, it'll be a few days before i play more.
