    Help with FPS issues.

So, if I upgraded my Processor to say... A Quad-Core or something, I'd have a chance of running the game smoothly? Like, a good Quad-Core though. Or even a good dual core? Edit: Will this do? "Phenom II X4 840 (3.2GHz, 95W, 2MB, total dedicated L2 cache, 0MB, L3 cache, 4000MHz HyperTransport™ bus, socket AM3)" It's $103. Right in my budget." (I'm new to forums, so I don't know if this is on purpose, but it blanked this out for some reason. In case you didn't know, you can see it simply by highlighting it.)

Okay, Graphics settings are all very low, I cleaned my computer out a day ago, and my specs are as follows: CPU = Intel® Pentium® D CPU (3.00 GHZ) RAM = 4GB OS: Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce GT 440 Pixel and Vertex Shader 5.0, With 1GB Dedicated RAM Sound Card: NVIDIA High Definition Audio

Uh, no, not at all. When the frame rate starts getting choppy, I reach down and feel the sides of the computer, and it's lukewarm.
  4. Now, I used System Requirement Lab to check how my computer fared, and sure enough, I got recommended settings for everything except my CPU, which, mind you, still stayed just above the minimum mark, however, I still get so much frame rate lag It's unplayable. I mean, it sometimes keeps itself above 20FPS, which I consider really good, but then, after about 10 or so minutes of playing, it goes down to about 5. Then again, that happens with most games I own. A simple re boot usually fixes it up for a while, then it goes back down. Can anyone help me? Please.
