I made a ural truck for the first time on that server yesterday. parked it to map boundaries while it was raining and foggy. left the server. 20 minutes later it was gone. also atv was looted which was hidden in bunch of trees 500m near - old hatchback which only included medical supplies 2km west didnt touched. I am amazed how ppl can find it so fast. all I saw was some [rev] clan members were online at the server at that moment and few other players who were keep dying probably at the coastal towns.

I've been playing this mod since late april and I've never seen this many crash sites. I wasnt playing that much but since last 1.7xx then I started playing actively again and almost every night I came across a crash site (with no NVG or any other thermal weapon - rangefinder. I only came across m107's, m249 saw, m14) so... im thinking.. cheaters found a way to spawn crash sites? Like I said I came across almost 20 crash sites since weekend. And no range finders nor nvg - any kind of thermal scoped weapon. Also zombie alive / total count seems "bugged" like alive 3 total 500 zombies every time on those crash site servers. Anyone finding too many crash sites lately? (1.7.2.3 / latest beta)

I hope dayz game will be same with virtual reality 3 (arma II engine) and im sure it will be great cuz rocket already pro at it. cry3 sux imo and I honestly dont think it can handle even this alpha dayz better than arma II engine. most of the gamez today look good but play like shit. same directx - console looking shiny textures or lights (bf3 also) is boring to see at every game. I didn buy bf3 only cuz of that game is buried under eas so called origin spyware. I hate ea so much. I dont think rocket ruin his game. anyway he knows better. But I think no other engine can handle ballistics, lights and other ton of stuff better than vr engine today.

as soon as some nick names like "abcd...xxx_RUS" starts to pop up in server, leave that server. dont get me wrong im not saying anything there are nice russian players too. this may be sad but its a fact.

problem is your gpu driver. I saw few amd 7xxx users have this issue on different games (driver stopped working) with latest drivers. All you can do is to update to latest beta driver from amd I guess. dont forget to uninstall current amd gpu drivers completely.

if people stop for one second and try to think about "man this is a mod based on arma II oa, arma II oa should be good" all problems will go away. Cuz really, arma II oa is better in terms of roles - balance. You need a stable team with everyone serving to their roles. ppl expect this balance from dayz but ofc no - theres no way. Try playing arma II domi is all I can say.

we are not living in stone age. using windows os shouldnt be hard that was all Im saying.

browsing folders in windows 7 and copying files into them aren't "tech stuff". maybe time to go back to that box hooked up to TV?

My question is: why sometimes vehicles just vanish after server restart? or tent I just put bloodbags spawn "empty" after restart? I had a vehicle and I made an accident. Suddenly server restarted. now vehicle isnt there, tent is where is supposed to be but its empty. what should I do, change server or just wait for them to load properly with another restart? I forgot the ask my real q: I saw my nick "was killed" as soon as I join to server today. then there was my own body, just where I spawn and I had a broken bone. same thing happened to someone else too. what should I do, respawn?

I dont want to break your good hopes but so much cpu power with multi-tasking abilities but almost no 3d/gpu power in that build. 16gb ram and some other parts are nonsense. you could easily build a better pc for gaming purposes but im not sure maybe you like it to be like this.

well if you cant find a car someone / a group probably hoarded them. why dont you sweep the map and see if you can blow their hoarding spot? I mean fun pretty much depends on how you approach it.

do you have any idea to hotwire a car? cars in dayz are older models. they are especially easier. you lost me with keys and the whole thing about cars.
