there were 400k dayz players 1 month ago (or 6 weeks I cant remember shit these days) anyway now its almost 1mil. take it easy. issues will occur - especially at weekends. look at it this way steam has 4mil users and its a legit corporation but still every one of us having some issues time to time.

inside C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\ArmA 2 find ArmA2OA.cfg set these GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; now open yourname.ArmA2OAProfile in notepad press CTRL+F and find "complexity" now change sceneComplexity sceneComplexity=100000;

taking down choppers with a sniper rifle is not easy. you need an accurate shot to the rear rotor or to the engine (right under the main rotor). best weapon against choppers would be LMG's I think. m249 would do the job with high rate of fire.

there is no "darkness setting" they cant tweak or anything its just moonlight. sometimes you have open skies and moonlight thats all.

I cant even refresh server list - cant browse any of the official dayz servers. All it finds is some nocd key servers, unofficial ones and regular oa servers.

I wanted to be killed actually. I dont like murdering people for nothing. I wanted to try shooting the weapon with short bursts while crouched and it worked. I didnt expect to live but m249 supression made them panic I guess.

come on I just found a NVG!!! (im playing since may 4th) .. and why ppl always ask for a database wipe out? client is on alpha stage atm, same as the server side. how this mod can be called persistent if devs suddenly wipe out all the data? you are focusing at wrong topics imo.

and watch at 1080 fullscreen. targets are real small.

this isnt a kill its a murder. loot is not good nor worth killing somebody but congrats anyway. next time try killing players with heartbeat. they carry better stuff adn you get a bandit kill.

and dont set texture to normal no matter what settings you disable. set video mem to default, texture quality to high.

pretty much same for me too. It just got better and better.

arma II has two other DLC's which contains some of the models-textures used in dayZ and without those DLCs', your player models and some other stuff have to suffer low ass textures.

1 mag isnt enough imo. nato ammo is harder to find like nvg itself.

I dont know you but I have never seen this high framarates in dayZ since 1.5.x.x Its almost running at solid 60fps and im playing in 60 player server, its full most of the time too.

I cant save anything to my tent. it just disappears. I start to think someone is trolling me. waiting for me to put stuff in and then he is taking them when I leave the area. lulz

smoke nades come in very handy at situations like these.
