you can already build your base in armaII oa but it wasnt possible at alpha mod stage for dayz. so yeah im sure there will be building options.

check windows power options and make sure its set to high performance.[control panel > power options] if you installed new gpu driver on previous one, conflicts can cause this too. try removing all video drivers and installing the latest again. make sure to use guru3d driver sweeper after uninstalling them from control panel > programs http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

minecraft was 15$ at first alpha stage so im guessing dayz wont be more than 15 euros or $$$

so can we say this as a fact: game will not use arma3 engine, its gonna use its OWN engine and this one wont be the outdated arma2 engine?

I'm playing dayZ since may. Terrific news and im glad I've been a part of this as a pc gamer, its been a pleasure for me. Thanks for that. Also the best thing happened I guess. I got high hopes on standalone game since its rocket + bohemia. It couldnt be any better.

they can easily modify current arma II engine (better hdr, better models) and call it dayz game. Fine by me.

yeah so true. I remember playing armageddon (dos exe) for first time. dayz gave me that feeling, it reminded me so much. maybe a feeling belong to when I was a kid but dayz certainly delivered that. some of those console player maybe missed that, never had a chance to experience and they are experiencing it now. which is totally insane. dayz delivers so much

I can give you few advices: try joining veteran servers - they are better. after respawn, dont miss your location (its showing at lower right side of the screen for 2 seconds) and find it on map (link: http://dayzdb.com/map) learn how to ditch zombies. even you find a weapon, shooting them mostly causes more trouble. (just get in to someplace with 2 entries, leave the place after they get in) crouchwalk all times (press X) and prone (Z) if you dont want to be spotted by zombies. be patient all times. keys are simple use mouse wheel to interact with items - doors - ladders. G gear, K compass (when you found one) M map (same) keypad enter to switch 3rd person - first person mode. last advice: you need to die, die, die and killed by other players many times to gain experience. get used to it.

We were looking for a server to play at nighttime and most of the servers were midday at 3am (europe) anyway we joined this de 804 server everything seemed fine but admin salutes us from global chat "hi" I said "hey" as answer. weird right? anyway 10 minutes later he kicks us, leaving his 3-4 buddies in server with himself probably stacking helis and stuff. WE WILL BE BACK ASSHOLE, TO BLOW THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR CAMP ULTIMATE GOAL NOW IS TO keep you playing sims buddy.

I probably dont give a damn after smoke some joint tonite but I had to get it out. plus these things need to be posted here. nice theory but no smartguy. I had 70ping and my buddy had 15ping (he's from NL). we got kicked 10 times just after getting into lobby. They were stacking vehicles, and we had no business at all with vehicles. We just wanted to travel from A to B in a night server. Maybe he banned us Idk. I'll give it a try soon.
