when you launch arma II there are tutorial missions. finish them and you are good to go.

For the first time I found a tent, I've tried to place it so many times and all failed. I decided to move, placed it twice or more while trying so many times (to middle of a road with a house full of zombie spawn next to it). Then I picked up this tent without using SAVE function and move it to elsewhere. I found a good spot and placed/saved the tent with some goodies in it. A day later, I couldnt find it. I started to think I am confusing the servers but I wasnt. What happened: 2 days later of placing my tent, it popped up in spot I pitched (with exact stuff in it) it ALSO those other spots (empty) I've tried and failed pitch. So I had like 5 tents, duped which I didnt even intend to. Later on even if I pack a tent, leave it there so hoping world maybe somehow despawn it and I never see that tent there, with every restart tent was right there.

Btw you can keep AA, all you have to do is playing around with Atoc. armaIIoa.cfg located in your username \Documents\ArmA 2 AToC=7; setting not available in UI, Level of Alpha To Coverage Anti-Aliasing[1] (7=all enabled(default) or 0=disabled (normal AA prior AToC)) 0 - disabled 1 - AToC on grass 2 - AToC on new OA trees (takistan, zargabad, proving ground, shapur) 4 - AToC on old A2 trees (utes, chernarus) // combined 3 - AToC on grass & OA trees 5 - AToC on A2 trees + grass 6 - AToC on A2 + OA trees 7 - AToC enabled on grass, A2 & OA trees (default) NOTE: AToC is inactive if Anti-Aliasing is disabled in advanced video options! ------ Im playing dayZ with AA @ normal with atoc=6 You can set atoc to 0 and keep aa for good performance and no saw-teeth visuals.

I mean come on why are you lying. What I believe, if you INJECT something to the game, spawn heli - crate or justin bieber -- you gonna get banned. Now I read so many threads like "I didnt do anything" and I almost want to believe some of them. I may be naive but devs - coders arent. They know these injections and they are banning you for using those cheats. It doesnt matter if you just wanted to see it once. You got banned. period. Just dont fucking cheat. You are supporting the wrong side, downloading cheats, running cheats. fu lame cheater. some posts are like "I knew It was a cheatbox, I took some gear and destroyed it.." if you know its a cheatbox, why interacting with that in the first place? you deserve ban too.

I bought arma II few weeks ago (only for day z). I've played couple of games with friends in arma 2 free but my main reason to buy the game was day z you know. now let me tell you: I dont have a vehicle till this day nor a camp (tentcity). I've posted a cheat report in my first day of playing. It turned out, some vet players were fucking up a noob server up and I saw murder of my character @youtube. butthurt. What I like in this mod is atmosphere. Assholes posted vid about me and my bud getting murdered but that didnt changed me. As soon as I learnt the area, how to handle stuff, how to sneak up on enemy, how to loot a town I had everything and now im basicly experimenting. I havent killed a single survivor to this day. I'm stalking them with their big coyote backpacks, finding their camp, and leaving. you can say "that doesnt make sense" to me it does. Im observing someone, he/she is all paranoid, waiting a little (probably looking at a map), then moving to his camp (happens all the time at up north).. I like to play this way. Im stalking him and letting him go. gooseman did counter-strike but he didnt get much props as rocket. thats cuz fps gaming was killed by console bullshit in last few years I guess. since doom3 and HL2 I dont remember if anything good came up (excluding stalker series) and with this power of computers day z shines. I support it for simple thing: this mod nor armaII involves with consoles and feels like a fps game as it should. dont fight with each other or call names people. I see suckers or haters all the time on forums. lets fuck zombies up together or melee em, or build a car together?..bandage a stranger and all that.. im not trolling here my post is as real as it gets. I myself started to play games with quake2, im sure there are lots of players. anyway lets just have a nice community and not hate anything. we dont need to hate anything. this shit evolves so lets adapt and support. I got high with friends tonite and I have 16 days old character with everything you name it. I'm alive cuz I loot the shit out of everywhere yet im not dead cuz I learned to stay alive without killing. habitat or what (I cant spell right now) you can explore this shit by yourselves. zombies are good. its all good now. I used to sneak up a group of zombies at high noon but 2 of them broke my legs at pitch dark night time now. they were like 5 meters away from me and they saw me. With new tone mapping, and I have high hopes on this one..game will look-feel awesome. the way it should. please fix this tone mapping once and for all and lock the gamma-brig thingie.

get inside to the closest treeline. then locate the closest barn and run for it. Barns are (there are online game maps and your location is shown at hud when you spawn) great source for weapons and equipment. Also deerstands. they only have 2-3 infected around and once they spawn, they will walk AWAY from the structure. so just observe at distance then get in and get your weapon. Now you are ready to go into a supermarket for other basic tools like knife or compass. Once you have yourself a hatchet / matches / knife, you can hunt down animals and food problem solved. there are lakes and wells to refill your canteen.

im tired of trying to get into a server. Im looking to title and it says dayz 1.7.1.1 with 93825, when I get in theres error "YOU HAVE 1.7.1.1 SERVER RUNS 1.7.0"... other server have no sound cuz its a different beta..other one kicks me BE script blabla. I dont understand whats wrong with those admins labeling server different then running version. maybe tomorrow things go smooth.
