Forahilarm

I've looked over a couple of the forum posts here, and I've wanted to play DayZ for a while now but money has never been quite available. With the Steam Holiday Sale going on, I was able to buy ARMA 2 and OA. I understand the gist of the game and am sure to learn the mechanics as I go. Any tips regarding what I ought to do first, good places look, or places to avoid, etc. (At least if such help can be given)

Still installing, But thanks. :) Well, I've been hearing conflicting things, I know there is a stand alone coming, but ETA is still up in the air. Was 2012, now 2013. Besides, I'd like to get my feet wet now, and Arma is pretty cool to mess with it seems. :)
