My favourite gun, the chopper destroyer. Love unloading clips of it, it's popular at crash sites for me.

I love the kamenka spawn, can hit quite a few deer stands and IMO a lot safer. Also I tend to keep a lot of my stuff on the west.

@West67 Your obviously going the wrong way about things, use the dayz database map on the website to start with, helps you with your loot. I don't know about anyone else but I've never come close to starvation or dehydration, there is loot everywhere. On the bandits killing new spawns, they are the kids who sit on the coast and like to act tough because they struggle killing geared players. If your playing on your own it might be best to try play with another experienced player, ill be glad to play one day. Other than that it also depends on the server your on

I was new to PC gaming when I first started, I didn't understand the servers or the game properly and how it worked with real time day/night. My first server I joined was almost pitch black months ago and it's safe to say I was shutting myself and acting like a little girl running round like a headless chicken. Ended with death by zombies in Cherno in one of the white hotelish buildings.

I know what was patched... But the thread said game is a challenge again, it's not a challenge, it's still just as easy to run through a city and gear up if you avoid the tricky building. Point I was making is if you play sensibly there is no added challenge contrary to the OP's beliefs.

I don't get it... I don't feel any added difficulty.

Anybody who suggest or even thinks about buying stuff in game for money should put on a stupid hat, pull their pants down and go and stand in the naughty corner.

Easy come easy go, hes only going to get hacked or die at some point and lose it anyway. It sucks but I wouldnt have even contemplated trading with him in the first place.

Taviana is the only map ive enjoyed outside the original, origins isnt to bad to.

Looking for a teammate basically or a small group. Been lone wolfing it for a couple of weeks and tbh its pretty boring which has lead me to play a lot of wasteland. Preferably want to join a small group that is on a private server I dont want to join a community, dont like the fuss of shit loads of people all talking in TS, my timezone is GMT. Been playing for a few months and im pretty experienced, just started recording again to since I got my new rig. Just message me for skype or steam.

You will never keep anything hidden as said above, one thing about dayz never get attached to your gear or vehicles. Easy come easy go, my most successful tent which somehow stayed for weeks was on the docks on a private server once. Hasnt worked since so I gave up on that one.

Excellent post, sir. I never get why people say vehicles should be rare? It's a zombie apocalypse so they all disappear. The parts and fuel etc should be harder to acquire than the vehicle itself. Yes there unusable vehicles on the map, but less vehicles for me causes a lot more pvp, a public server if I happen to stumble upon a guy or squad driving myself or me and my squad are taking the shot. Bit of a pain in the arse running about for the majority of the time. Now for the private hives, people have seeker refuge in the private hive from the hackers playground in the public servers. Some of the hives are ridiculous however I seen one where you started with an FN FAL and it claimed to be a survival hive.

I'd be tempted, but I'd like the odds of 2vs1 against the ghillie, the Dmr being my favourite gun is to tempting. Nothing to lose, not gonna lie would i be a dick in saying... dream scenario would be ghillie guy taking out morphine guy then me picking off the ghillie after revealing himself. Would save a lot of complications

No need to post the 100th topic on the situation, just post in one of the many other threads. Its a survival game, the zombies werent a real threat before hand although the zed awareness is a bit out of control. Also if a player is struggling to gear up, its the ones who used to sprint through a city with a trail of zeds behind them get in the nearest building and disconnect. It is tougher to gear up, you have to be faster run over the loot only stopping if you see something interesting. Its not a case of not having a browse anymore and taking your pick at which loot to have.

You shot him in the chest? Then he ran off, rare considering at a reasonable distance and a shot to the chest the Enfield would knock another player out. My troll sense is tingling.

The rush of killing another guy, the anticipation of what loot is on his body. That rush when your in a shoot out and some high tech gear is on the line is amazing, I'm never disappointed when I die when it comes to gear, I see it as easy come easy go its not hard to get geared up now. However I do dread that run along the coast as a fresh spawn.

At night the ghillies with there NVGs and DMRs come out to play. Personally I've not experienced a lot of full night gameplay, like the guy above the servers I play on tend to be full moon, seen as though there private hives. If I'm on a public server I will play in the dark I find it easier to loot in the dark, changing gamma doesn't help me it looks shocking don't know if its my settings or that's just how it is but I can't see shit.

A real bandit patrols the north, A coward sits on the coast. I have killed fresh spawns before, kills I am not proud. If I am providing over watch for a friend or bandit I am teaming with who has fresh spawned I will shoot, the way I see it they could easily pick up arms in the city and therefore my friend is in danger. However I don't sit there waiting for fresh spawns, I make my way back up north. If a survivor chooses to come up north then that's there decision. People who sit on the NWAF for absolute hours are also cowards IMO, yes I know they are stopping potential threats from gearing up with high tech loot, but the fact that people can sit there for hours and hardly move makes me cringe. Sitting there scared to die, i have no problem with dying, congrats to the guy who takes my loot i just respawn and go about my business, Move about come and play.
