Anxiety doesn't seem needed, not everyone would get anxiety when killing someone, it depends on their characters psychology and personally I'd like to keep it the way it is, make their character(in a psychological manner) the way they want it to be. As for the rest, I think it's quite interesting.

Not giving out skype to people, I do get eventually on TS if someone has it, and I play whenever I can, I'm on UK time.

Try this, no idea if it'll work but try. Go into DayZ Commander Then go into Settings There should be a box saying: Replace original Arma2OA files with Beta files so steam works Check it Hopefully what it should do is update your game to the newest version, hopefully it does, let me know if it does. :)

In this case I'd have to agree with Raymond. I can see his point, every story is the same. I have this gun, I see this guy, I have this bullet, I shoot this guy, I laugh at this guy. I am bad ass. I understand it's the way this sub-section works, people post their day and how they killed people. Hey, what if I start posting how I transfused some blood to that guy last night, or today, or how I might do it tomorrow and annoy the crap out of everyone? And it's not just that, what bothers me is the way he does the posts(sexism, in particular). Anyhow, I'll go write a story how I met this guy, how I had this blood bag, how I had helped this guy, how I was so good today.

"I can't seem to find my way around the map" "I need help." I gave him what he asked for, a better orientation around the map. Whether you think that's a bad idea, helping someone out, or not is just your opinion, because it obviously doesn't bother them and it wouldn't bother me if someone had showed me the website when I first played the game. There's nothing wrong in having orientation. EDIT: Also, if you think that I ruined a game because I simply gave them a map, you're sadly mistaken because the game itself is more than just a map with loot spots. There's much more to be excited about when playing, and they will still have a hard time orienting themselves with that map. If your definition of having fun in game is just about orientation and maybe finding loot easier, then I just feel sorry for you. On Topic: To avoid zombies try running through pine trees, the ones that are a bit lower so you can pass through the leaves, it will make the zombies walk. Also, run through a building or over a bridge and it will make them walk as well. Run up a hill, well, when I say run I mean walk up a hill, you'll walk much faster and they will slow down.

Yeah.. I know what he means.. The thing I did was go on a rampage slaying all the zombies if they piss me off, and loot that one empty tin can happily ^.^

Zedertone, hello! My name is Marco and I'm 15, soon to be 16 years old and I play Epoch as well. I've been recently searching for lots of servers, went through like 10-20 of them which is insane. I'm mainly looking for ones set in the UK or Europe in general. The IP: 178.33.135.112:2372 I'm using the gamer tag: [survivor] Ratsmon_ Something about the server from my perspective? The community is generally friendly and mature. There's a small amount of vehicles and no starting gear, which in my opinion is perfect because you get the perfect vanilla experience. However there are plenty of barracks at the NWAF for people to loot and it's somewhat easy to get gold. Prices aren't expensive. It's a good experience all in all, hope to see you there one time, tell me your in game name! ;)

Just another tip, sometimes peoples Arma version doesn't get updated, don't know if it's a DayZ Commander issue or not, but to fix that all you have to do is go to: - DayZ Commander - Settings and check the little box that says Replace original Arma2OA files with Beta so steam works, which should update the game versions to the newest. :)

I'll share some wisdom I have, but cherish the feeling of being lost for now :) Learn the Russian alphabet, or at least remember the city names, here's a handy map for Chernarus, it's got all the sweet spots. www.dayzdb.com/map I used to turn it on using the Steam web browser and orient myself using that, but you can always find a map in game as well.. You can get good weapons from Firestations such as MP5's, M4A1's, shotguns and AK's, maybe AKM. You can find shotguns and pistols at the supermarket + food , backpacks and drinks and whatnot.

Back when I first bought DayZ, was getting into it and got some decent gear, no weapon unfortunately. I notice some people own a chopper and guns, there were 3 of them as you can see from the picture. NicksterHD, Banana Hammock and Gentle Llama. While I was flying with them, I asked if I might be able to join them, they agreed and showed me their base. They took me there as you can see in the picture and I talked them into making them sit down so I can take a group picture, they had Urals, UAV's filled with gear(guns, medical supplies) and as they sat down around the fire I kept saying via voice chat how I couldn't get the screenshot button to work. While I was thinking of killing them my heart was racing and they kept talking how they love each other or something? I was pretty sure they were going to do some e-sex with me so I decided to end them. While they were sitting, oh I forgot to mention, I took an M4A1 from their chopper while we were on the way. So I stood up, took a shot into the guy to my right into the head. Then shot the left guy as he was getting up, I chose to kill those two because they had the best guns from the group. Both of them fall to the ground as the third one struggles to stand up with his pistol, he yells something in voice chat and I pop a few bullets into his head, making him collapse onto the ground. Afterwards towing all of the cars with me and listening to them complain in chat. That was the death of the Banana Hammock! (Side note to avoid arguments: I killed them because they were creeping me out, I thought the plan through. They had weapons and they were very easy to be taken down. Was I misusing their trust? Sure, but they had it coming inviting a guy they just met to their base. Banditry.) Death to the Internet Perverts As I was making my regular route across the Chernarus map I took a side tour towards Devils Castle where I was climbing along the stairs. I suddenly by accident fall down the stairs, no more than a meter and break my legs, bleeding down to 8,000 blood. Suddenly I see a few people join the server, the server had only about 5-10 people max per day. I ask them if they could offer me some help by picking me up and giving me morphine and some blood. They agree and pick me up at Devils Castle. When they helped me, I got into the chopper and I decided to be nice and not kill them, so I asked for a ride to NWAF. Then, all of a sudden out of the blue they ask me how old I am, and my sex. . . Side note: I've seen these guys ask for genders before and one person said they were a girl and they kept asking for skype or whatever they did. They haven't done that to me in the past so I didn't want to kill them, but now it's on! I pretty much poker face at this point and look at the screen disgusted by the personal questions, and I think to myself that I would like to have some fun with these guys. Basically I say: Yes I'm 17, not giving away my gender, and I ask them to land now that we arrived to NWAF. They ask me for my skype, I tell them to get out because I still need more blood, while one of them was doing the transfusion, I took the M240 SAW out of his backpack, busted the guy behind me with the gun, killed the guy giving me a transfusion and somehow the buggers shot me. Making me unconcious, I stay on 1000-2000 blood with no bloodbags and I bring the chopper with the gear down to Kamenka, hiding it, respawning until I get to Kamenka and on full blood, and go away happily with my chopper. But the pervy brothers decided to take on hacks and TP the whole server to one spot, and kill us all. Fun day. Pissed of a bunch of kids and got a few good laughs : ' )

Yeah, I heard their little squeaky voices over direct. Got some good gear from them, shame the server got wrecked :P

EDIT: Also, to avoid people talking in side chat while you record, for example use A program like fraps to record your game audio, and Audacity to record your microphone audio so that when someone talks in side chat, you can lower the fraps audio and still keep your audio and your mates in tact.

I'd expect nothing less of the kid than to try and kill you, if I read the story right. Just as a reference I did not understand the story.. may be I'm dumb, who knows, who cares, why bother.
