If I had any great suggestions for you, I would give them, but sadly, I got none. You cant manipulate the way others play, nor try and avoid that system. You just have to accept the fact that when you meet someone there's a 60% chance he'll kill you, 20% chance he'll run away from you thinking you'll kill him and 20% chance that he will team with you.

Rocket stated out(As I heard, correct me if I'm wrong) that it will most likely be released before the end of 2012 year or after 2013 around January. He also stated(Correct me if I'm wrong) that the price range wont be over 25 Euros and will go like Minecraft. I.E it will cost less when its alpha and then as updates come it will cost more and more. :)

You have a couple of options, you can buy Arma 2 Combined Operations now and play DayZ untill there's noone to host the servers(There probably will be players who will continue to play the mod rather then the SA but its a small playerbase). Or you can buy the SA when it comes out, play a better version of the game and spend less money on something that will: Be better, more people will play. If you want to save money: Wait for the StandAlone If you want to play the game right now: Buy Arma 2 Combined Operations and download DayZ commander and play the mod.

Alright here's a scenario for you: Hackers: Oh bull****, my amazing chopper is broken and now I cant transport myself to other players to piss them off! Oh wait, what's that! Let's spawn an engineer book and let us repair our chopper magically! woop! Survivors: Car broken, damn. Oh a book, I can use the book to fix my car definately! I honestly doubt that you can find a book that is in good shape, explains everything detailed and lets your absorb the knowledge from it in 0.5 seconds.. So if you're trying to put in survival aspects already, make it like finding pages, you find one page on how to correctly input a tire(Just an example), the other pages will show you how to fix the engine etc.. And in the end, you will create a whole book when only AFTER you have the entire book you can learn from it. Otherwise this is just unrealistic.

This. This is one of the best compromises. I totally agree with this. My my. How come noone figured this out sooner. That'll make it perfect since noone has the time to make a fire during gunshots(It would be terrible if you were in a gunfight and someone shot you, you camp out till your blood regens..) +1 for this one above me!

For me the best part is when you go up a HUUUUUUUUUUGE hill and overview a town nearby, find a zombie and bang, headshot right onto the floor :)

Explain a bit more detailed. What does the pop up say? How often does it occur? Did you do anything particular before the pop up appears?

1. How many times did this occur? 2. Are you absolutely sure the servers lost connection? After you die double check, maybe its just for you. 3. Die on purpose on a random server, do the usual stuff you do, log out , restart DayZ command or whatever and check the playerbase. If it has changed alot, you are crashing it(Note: Before doing this check how much players are on currently) After you did this, report back. :)

Boy you showed him! :D OnTopic: I kinda like the freedom of the mod itself which allows us to choose between a 3rd person shoot and a FPS... People have different tastes, if you hate 3rd person so much, then just switch to FPS. If you're bothered by something, doesnt mean everyone else will be. :I

Oh no sorry, I misread, I thought your STEAM account was hacked not the game itself. I dont have alot of experience on the steam platform but I suggest you contact steam support and gather some evidence if you can. I wish the best of luck mate, honestly.

All we can do is pretty much sit ducks and play some DayZ mod untill the SA comes out. I dont see the point of argueing when you have the mod itself at the moment.

I'm more of a calm and paranoid person(The best mixture there is >-<') I would probably panic and do random stuff I would regret and in the end get shot. But I voted for: 1. Going to the player in hopes he'll let me join him. 2. Try to ask for bargain in voice chat. Or surrender :D 3. Let him ride with me.

Youtube has a special ability that the OP of the video can keep the comments he likes and erase the ones which he dosent. You can see if that's enabled by clicking on the comment square and it will say: "The OP of this video chose the ability to keep comments he likes" or something like that. If I'm not wrong you can just use your email to reset your password, but be carefull, the virus may contain keylogger which can get your email adress hacked aswell. So clean your computer with your anti-virus of choice and then be carefull what you do. And next time ask around before downloading random stuff from the internet. Also try avoiding obvious programms like Arma2FPSEnlarger.exe because that's the most obvious hack there is. And also try to avoid .rar files from youtube, most of them will contain viruses and to unlock some of the .rar files you'll have to fill out a survey. I hope this was helpfull :)
