What is the setup that you use to play on DayZ? What hardware have you had the best luck with, etc. I personally have the following i7 960 OC to 3.8 ghz MSi Big Bang XPower mobo G-Skill RAM (pretty generic, running at 1600mhz) GTX 295 (pretty aged at this point, have a GTX 680 Classified coming next week) 1 TB Samsung SpinPoint HDD Plays DayZ/ ARMA 2 on Max, but with no AA or postprocessing, with medium shadows, at a pretty constant 60fps playing at 1680 x 1050 So, what hardware are you guys running?

Me and a newly met acquaintance were looting a supermarket at Berezino. I was walking around the counter and the counter clipped my legs and broke them. Having only a Winchester, and a few zombies shuffling around in the store while we were looting, I dispatched them while my friend went to get me some morphine. I started shooting more and more zombies as they filed in, one by one, more and more. I had plenty of ammo, but I was glitched to where I couldn't move, so I really should have died, but when my friend got back after a little bit there was around 30 Zeds on the ground. He was utterly shocked

I don't really stay around any one area. Once I get myself good gear I stock my backpack FULL of soda and beans and set out. At the moment I have no earthly clue where I am, have an AK74, a G17 with 2 clips each and a Czech backpack full of food. Have the means and the matches to get myself more water and cook food as needed

They shouldn't make some hatchets dull or change any attributes about it from a 1HK until they actually get it working properly. At its current state it is just a modified weapon with an extremely low effective range that maybe 1/5 hits actually register

I always, always, always KoS bandits. I feel that others see you as a threat the second they see you with a long rifle or shotgun of some sorts. If you are wearin camo or a ghillie, I will almost always try to break your legs somehow. I just don't like not knowing what you are.

The hackers are prevalent in many public hives. Private hives I don't like because they start you off with gear. As I type this some hacker has put me on a 1-hr knockout timer that is about halfway finished

I guess you could consider me a trader. But I don't just walk right up to people to trade with them. I do dead drops. Many times I have been in Cherno and after setting up the drop, I will mark the building with a few different colored chemlights, then tell them about a room that their requested item is in. From there they retrieve the item and then drop the item of my request where the other was. I then get a vantage on the location. Watch the location and wait until he leaves the building. While keeping watch of him. Sometimes if I have a friend I get them to get the drop on them when they first enter the building an tell them to drop all weapons while they are in there. From there he holds him until I confirm the item is there, and they are on their merry way. Although I've performed this I think 4 times, I've done it with a friend 3 of those times. I was burned once, and the guy tried to make a break for it out the door. I broke his legs and took his stuff and left him for dead. Funny thing is he had morphine on him too, and I stole that as well

It's your processor man, it's terrible for such a draw-distance oriented game. Set all your settings as low as possible.

It would be cool to see Tazer guns in settlements and military outposts. They would be one-use, same as standard Tazer guns, they would knock a regular player to the ground for say 20 seconds, and stun or knock down Zeds for a shorter time, due to reduced cognitive function and nervous system health. Effective range 5-10 meters Pepper spray could be found in residential areas and towns and military outposts, and would disorient other players by making their vision go similar to heavy blood loss, except red tinted, effective for stealthy escapes at night and getting away from a robbery when not well armed. The pepper spray would break the pursuit of zombies that are sprayed by it, and make you invulnerable to detection by those Zeds again for 10 seconds. Effective range 5 meters

I think that they should take as much time as they need to deliver the best game possible free of bugs

I always haul ass to Balota airfield, take your time looking for your loot there, there's not much activity around there normally, even on high pop servers. Lots of medical loot and military weapons can be found there. I then head to Cherno, grab what I can from the market and hospital, and then chill in the wilderness raiding deer stands until I need food or water or meds bad enough to head into a city again. Beware though, I always encounter more players absolutely randomly in the forest than I do traveling to towns or in towns for some reason
