I'm not looking to join any mega-clan, I'm looking for a squad of 4-6 people. Hey there guys, looking to get back into DayZ. I'm 18 years old and used to play in a squad with all people from EU which kind of conflicted with my timezone. It was a real pain in the ass cause I either had to play in the middle of the day or I didn't really get to play with them at all. Below I will post a little bit about myself and some more info for what I'm looking for. I'm 18 years old, and am looking for a mature group where everyone is 16 or older. I'm not really looking for a "hardcore" group but definitely not a overly casual one either. I definitely want a group that takes the game serious but isn't going to flip their shit when they die. I'm not really the bandit type. My rules of engagement are usually I will watch someone, and if they see me or I feel threaten I will kill them. If I'm in Stary, NW Airfield, Cherno, Elecktro, etc. I always KoS. I usually like to build a base. I will play any gametype (I've only really played vanilla DayZ though) but I would prefer to stick to cherno for the map. Add me on steam or skype if you are interested in having me join you. The thing is that zombies are not supposed to zigzag. Zigzag at shooters is something that they teach in the military and I believe it was accidentally left over from Arma2.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but waking up on a shore with no idea how you got there and with nothing is a bit strange.

That was for the sake of argument, I didn't meant it as a way of saying "If you have two small cities, and you aren't sure which you are in, it is going to be hard to get your bearings."

One of the things that completely ruins the disorientation when spawning is the ocean. You always know that when you spawn the ocean is south and from there you can always figure out your bearings. Wouldn't it be better if that you spawned in completely random buildings around the map? Say you wake up in a hospital room, wearing nothing but a hospital gown. Or wake up in a prison cell wearing a inmate jumpsuit. Or wake up in a fire station wearing "firefighter" related clothing. Even waking up in military barracks wearing fatigues. The possibilities are endless of where people could spawn; why limit it to the south coast on the shoreline wearing generic clothing? Not only would this add to the immersion of the game but also would increase disorientation for even the most seasoned survivors. You could potentially wake up in the middle of nowhere with no visible landmarks around, no compass, no map. Could you tell the difference between Guglovo and Pulkovo? Hey guys, I'm looking for a small squad (about 5 players) to play with. I've been playing DayZ for about 5 months now and have all the necessary skills that can be valuable to any squad. I am an exceptional pilot with any helicopter. Basically if there is room for the helicopter I can land it anywhere. I'm looking for players who live in the USA, preferably in the EST. About myself - I'm 18 and live in South Carolina, in game name is Trunk Yeti. I currently play with a squad of 5 but they all live in Europe which makes it hard to play with them because they usually get off around 5pm my time. My most active times are after 11pm EST. I'm willing to play any map but I only know Chernarus and would prefer to play on Chernarus. I'm not the bandit type but I will kill when I feel threatened. it just sounds like your internet connection, 4 mbs down is pretty bad; i get about 24mbs down in the usa. Definitely stick to asian servers or aussie servers.

Personally i think that is a good amount of vechicles, it keeps the game challenging. Also I like the starting gear, it is a good balance. Wish the map was chernarus though, not a big fan of other maps. If you were to change the map my squad i think would definitely join.

Honestly this just happens because pre-teen kids ask mommy to pay $40 a month for VPS to host the server on. Then they aren't mature enough to handle the admin powers so they just do everything in their power to ruin the game for everyone else.

I have a laptop with 12gb of ram and 660m NVIDIA graphics card. I run max settings on dayz at over 50 fps. My laptop cost me about $1200, I bought it from a dealer online called xoticpc and it is MSI brand. Don't say that laptops are bad for gaming cause if you load it up with the right stuff it can run just as well as a desktop. As for my opinion on macs...if you are a complete dumbass with computers and do not know how to take care of them, get a mac. Seriously it isn't hard, keep your drivers, os, and everything else updated. Use antivirus, and if you have any other questions google it or call a tech support line.
