Simple fix, just make it so you can hop into the pilot seat from other seats in the vehicle like most of the other vehicles in Arma anyway. Most people dont fly alone anyway in my experience, not that ive found a helicopter for months now though.

What do they mean by unbanned in regards to vehicles? Does that mean theyll spawn in chernarus on hive servers or that theyll be available for use on private servers?

Other weird things about this patch- 1. Died and respawned fully geared with stuff I havent had recently, like a AS50 2. No matter where I shoot zombies, it appears on my debug monitor as a headshot kill, even when theyre clearly not (ie. shooting one in the ass 5 times with a 1911). 3. Seems like theres a slight performance decrease as well.

And im a asshole for actually telling the OP what he needs to hear? If he takes my advice and the advice of many others in this thread he might be able to manage a 10 minute lifespan. And yeah, I did land a chopper in Chern on the hotel. It was incredibly fun. We counter-sniped snipers on the hill and hospital to the north. We heard some shots and saw a guy crouched on top of the hospital with a DMR shooting at a unarmed guy. I took him out and we flew the chopper down to his body to loot it. Turns out this guy was DECKED like MAD. Every tool, DMR, NVGS (even though it was day time), Coyote backpack, and the backpack was entirely full of Mountain Dew and food. Clearly this guy was a duper but anyway on the return trip back up to our spot another sniper took me out as I landed. My team threw my gear in the chopper and came and got me 2 minutes later. Didnt lose a thing. Didnt lose the chopper. Doesnt sound that stupid to me. Sounds like actually having fun. Edit- Also, to your comment about being in Chern and getting sniped in Elektro or whatever your asinine remark was, obviously snipers arent just exclusive to Elektro. The OP im sure is speaking about all coast snipers in his post, and is just using the most famous sniping spot as a generalization.

Get the fuck out of Electro then. Ive been sniped ONCE in like 600 hours of Day Z play. And that was because I was landing a fucking HELICOPTER on the roof of the hotel in Chern. People like you make me WANT to go snipe, even though I never seek people out to kill.

This sometimes happens when a vehicle that you are driving explodes. Try it. Grab a tractor and smash into a tree full speed. Youll get kicked for Script Restriction 55 then the tractor will disappear for 7 days, then will respawn at its original point. It has nothing to do with hacking or cheating. Get more informed before screaming CHEATER people
