I've updated munerous older pcs with them and simply move the existing hard drive to storage duty.Massive hardware bang for the buck! AMD is entering the ram market and offers a free, up to 4G ramdisk. No hands on experience here (yet).I'd also recommend Ccleaner and Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) as a couple of worthwhile programs to keep yourpc up to date, and cut down on growing clutter. $0.www.secunia.comhttp://www.piriform.com/ccleanerI like to run PSI once a week or so, then disable it from loading everytime, using the windows start button, then type in msconfig, then the startup tab, and uncheckthe Secunia box.
