This Saturday SUNDAY evening at 10pm GMT is DayZ Cannonball Run. We have 3 Arma3 Alpha Lite passes to give away for the first 3 players that finish the race first, along with a selection of weapons, gear and vehicles to choose from. Everyone will get the same vehicle to start with, you'll get a trunk full of spare parts and you'll be allowed to take up to 2 people with you (2 plus you = 3). Along the way you will find different vehicles that you can repair and use, unfortunately the salvage script will be turned off for this event, so make sure you hold onto your spare parts from the start of the race. You will be required to complete the track 3 times, and each pass will be checked and verified by an Admin. Anyone cheating will be banned from the server until the event is over. If there are enough admins online at the time, one admin will travel with each group but only for monitoring purposes, they will not be allowed to help you in any way and any attempts to ditch them will result in a disqualification. We will post the route up this Friday evening so you can familiarise yourself before the event :)

The bandits at Black Mountain have now moved their base to Devils Castle. Our intelligence gathering unit informs us that the bandits have been stock piling large amounts of food, ammo, tents and medical supplies throughout their base. We have marked the area on the map with a warning circle and advise all our players to avoid this area at all times unless you're looking for a war, please consider Devils Castle an extremely dangerous and hostile area and enter at your own risk.

Prove it! Your claims are based on nothing more than your say so, which is not really proof is it? Let people use the tool first, give them the option to donate if they like it (if it really works that is). Put your money where your mouth is. I made the mistake of purchasing TSW , which turned out to be flawed and buggy, the developer insisted it was all my computers problem, then waited until I called him on his bullshit in opendayz before he actually fixed the issues and I've still not had an apology.. So, what makes me think your product will be any better? I'm just waiting for all the fake reviews to follow ;)

Black mountain is now officially the most dangerous place on the map. There is some decent loot if people can make it into the castle grounds undetected. But I'm warning you, things could end very badly. The AI here are split into groups of varying skills and strategy.. So be fair warned :P

Update: New Rule regarding vehicle ownership... All current and future players should be aware that we are enforcing a limit on the number of vehicles any camp or individual can own. This is to make it fair on all players, especially our newcomers who are finding it increasingly difficult to find helis or offroad vehicles. The new rules are as follows: Vehicle Ownership Rules A maximum of 3 helis per safe base (or 1 per member, if less than 3 members in the base). Bases found with more than this will have the excess helis deleted and re-spawned in the wild (we don't check the contents, so the emphasis is on you to make sure you keep to your quota and avoid losing a heli full of gear). A maximum of 1 car or offroad vehicle, 1 truck (URAL etc), 1 motorcycle and 1 ATV per member, period. Having 1 Ural at one base and another Ural at a friends base will result in either vehicle being deleted and re-spawned in the wild. If you need extra storage, please use tents. Safe bases provide adequate protection from griefing, so there should be no excuses for not wanting to use tents as additional storage. ADMIN NOTICE: All admins must bring their heli back to the island before logging off. Leaving it in another players base for an extended amount of time will end badly :P Please do not bust my balls complaining about these new rules, I'm just trying to make it fair for everyone. After visiting a few bases the other day I was shocked and a little disappointed to see one base hording 5 Humvees and another base with 4 helis .. Yes, the admins all have admin helis, but we still stick to our 1 ural and 1 offroad with additional tents if needed rule. People with safe bases get their own heli spawn point, so we think that's a pretty good perk in itself. I'm open to suggestions and feedback, but like I said this is an attempt to make it fairer for everyone, so please keep that in mind ....

Actually, I'm finding it very difficult to read or even understand what you're saying, let alone find where you mentioned originally that it was a public hive (which I still can't find in your original post). If you'd just made your point instead of attempting to give us your life story using nothing but baby talk I'd probably have realised much sooner that you're just a lying ungrateful little toss pot, saved myself the effort and not even be typing this right now. This happens all the time on servers run by inexperienced admins. Just shrug it off and find another server (his loss, not yours).. I'll white list you on mine if you promise to behave yourself and stay away from my admin island :P

When losing humanity, it's per bullet .. So if you're going to try and keep your humanity high but want to kill a survivor , make it a headshot (1 shot kill) ;)

People who behave like total dicks in-game are usually always complete pricks in real life. They can't play the game any other way, because that would mean having some real skill, which these types of player don't have! They were probably bullies at school and haven't achieved anything in life that hasn't resulted in someone else's suffering or grief! So they manifest that in their online character, true story! Go on , troll and flame this comment . "Puts on jacket and leaves for the pub!!!"

Grab the map from your arma cache and open it up in the editor. If the items you speak of are in the editor in that location, then sure, the admin has added them (not really a hack, just a cheating admin imho). If they aren't there then you can maybe let the admin know, because his database might need fixing. As for hacked in stuff, it would have gone after the reboot unless they've managed to inject the items into the database, again, I'd tell the admin asap.

Was on their IRC not too long ago asking why the map loadout editor and map were not responding properly and why there was so much lag recently. There were a few admins on at the time, but non of them answered, over the course of about 15 minutes a few more customers came in asking similar questions and were also just ignored. Then, this guy comes in asking how he can add custom skins or some shit and I'm not kidding you, 2 admins piped up with a very lengthy and helpful reply for him.. So when I lost my temper and asked why he got acknowledgement while the rest of us are being ignored, one admin typed "Oh sorry. What was your question again?" .. One guy in the channel just went "***k this" and logged out (he's probably cancelled his account by now) and there wasn't really much more I could add to that so I left disappointed as well. There's a lot of suck ups on their IRC telling people to stop complaining and "well, it's just a little lag" or "it's fine my end".. Which doesn't help and the Dayz.st staff seem to side with them often trolling their own customers along with the suckups! It's pathetic really, considering how much money you pay for this service. I wonder if they even give a shit about losing customers this way? I know people already who have quit and moved over to HFB or SurvivalServers, so I'm wondering how long before someone on their team grows up and starts taking these complaints seriously... On a sidenote. Apart from the recent lag and historically terrible support, the service has been (up until recently) pretty good. I've had people ask me how I managed to get my server to run so fast, considering they are connecting from the states for example and my server is based in the EU. I hope the database maintenance they're doing brings these types of comments back to my server..

This is not a dayzcommander issue, its either the server you're trying to connect to, or you've got a dodgy copy of Arma or you're missing a version !

Added: Animated heli crash sites... See the video below ;) Removed: Most of the new buildings and structures around Cherno and Elektro, including most of the custom towns.. This was due to bugs in the positioning of the objects and lag related issues. We have also turned off the 300+ barrel fires, which has also reduced the lag, but feel free to turn them back on as you pass through. Also removed hundreds of other objects that weren't needed or simply just made the area glitchy! Added: We've added the Excelsior Bridge, as the old one was poorly designed and kept breaking vehicles. You still can't get onto the admin island, but you can drive half way over and in future updates we'll have day passes for the island too, so stay tuned for that. Re-Enabled (due to popular request): Safe Bases are now back on. But are subject to whether I'm available or not , and there is limited availability due to system resources. White Listing is now done through this thread or PM and NOT by teamspeak.

We can now add the female skin to all our female player profiles (or those guys that like dressing up as girls). Just ask in chat!
