Keep 'em coming guys! As for me, I have an updated one from yesterday. I was outside of Elektro, 40/50 people on the server so I knew that there was no way in hell it would be safe to go in and loot, but I was pretty much a fresh spawn, only had a Makarov but managed to find a ghillie and M4 in cherno the night before, I was in desperate need for food and drink so thought I'd risk it, get in and out asap. I log in and instantly spot movement just off to my right, I see a group of guys 5/6 if I remember correctly. I put my weapon in my bag and thought I would try to group up with them, they seemed organised, so with weapons holstered, I get up and walk down slowly shouting "Friendly" over mic, hoping they would take me in, but no I was gunned down by an AK. Stoopid mistake which I will never make again.

Would this lead into some sort of dubstep song? I'm still waiting for the bass drop...

So I've not played DayZ for about 2 months or so, returned to playing it this evening, playing on a usual server I play on quite often, it's a public server, not private. I got some loot and began to head North, and saw a group of zombies wandering out in the middle of a field, no buildings or town in sight, checked for any of those small huts in the woods but nothing, and they were really spread out as if they'd been there for a while, anyway after checking the area I continued North, thinking maybe someone had been chased by all 15 or so out of Elektro. Then I noticed the same thing again, and it continued happening in various places, numbers differing, sometimes on 2 or 3, sometimes 8-10+, each time I would look in the area to see any buildings or towns they may have spawned at and each time, nothing. This was literally out in open fields and each time they were spread out as if they had been there a while, so my question is, is there like a server plugin that allows random hoards or something? Thought it was pretty cool having to watch myself in the middle of the woods or out in a field.

I remember the age old glitch where that happened pretty much everytime you climbed a ladder back when DayZ first began!

Mine would be today, seeing as I tend to stay out of populous zones where the bandits seems to breed, I just spawned outside of Cherno, did a loot run, nothing special, some food and a revolver is all I really managed to find, anyway I was in a house picking up some ammo for said revolver when I hear footsteps behind me. I quickly back out of the gear menu to see a bandit with an axe swinging at me, missed the first one, second and third ones hit (not sure how he didn't break my legs) but I began to back out of the room, only 3 bullets loaded into my revolver, and bleeding, I thought that was the end for me, but I fired, not much time for precise aiming, popped him in the stomach, then the chest and finally downed him with a shot to the face. No death message, went to pick up the other ammo on the floor, turned around and finished him off with a shot to the cranium, felt good after being killed by a bandit earlier on.

I had no idea this thread was still going! Wow! Haha maybe he's just fat ;)

Same sort of thing happened to me the other day, all got tele'd to the middle of an open field and everyone just said 'WTF' in direct comms and then left the area

We came across a pretty obvious hackers set of tents once, so we flattened them all out.

I once had all the best gear, NVG'S,GPS,ghillie, silenced M4, pretty much name it, I had it at the time. Anyway I was alone on an old server I used to play at NWAF and stupidly ran onto the airstrip attracting a lot of attention to myself so I ran into a hangar hoping they'd slow down, they didn't, I managed to kill a lot of them but in the end died at the hands of the last 3 I couldn't get to in time. Was a sad day.
