I already kinda did that, the only thing is I haven't reinstalled battleye will try that though, and I'll research about what that guy said "Netframe work Dll" [no idea what it is but I hope it's something worthwhile] ____ Anyways, I have newest net framework so no idea what that guy meant. And he didn't tell me which settings were incorrect in my dayZ commander so ... that's a bit problematic... Seriously what the hell is wrong with this, I added exceptions in firewall, I have latest drivers, I have both games, Launched them as required, did "Verify game cache" ... wasted whole evening trying to figure it out :\

I don't know what your problem is but I'm not launching dayZ from steam. And if you can be more specific it'll be good, DayZ Commander says it's up to date. I don't know what's "Netframe work Dll" and you don't have to be agressive and all badass here, please keep calm nobody insulted you don't insult anybody and act like a "gdamn genius and next step of evolution".

Yes I have...man no idea what's causing the problme :\ it makes me really sad.

I did load up arma 2 and OA (not beta though) and I have re-installed DayZ Commander AS WELL AS arma 2 and arma 2 OA countless times... :(

I can't there are no mods in dayZ commander for me :\

I installed Beta version and the only thing that got fixed in DayZ Commander is that it no longer says 'Out of date' on ARMA 2, it still says 'mods (unable to get version from server' is it working now? can you check your DayZ commander? maybe there's problem on their part?

No normal Operation Arrowhead, is Beta version required now? o.O :huh:

Well the only thing that's not there is DayZ Directory, DayZ is not there physically because I haven't installed it...other than that everything is in fact correct... Wow what should I do? :|

but I redownloaded arma 2 and arma 2 OA without Arma 2: DayZ Mod on steam and my dayZ commander is still messed up...I'll try reinstalling it...maybe that will help, I don't want to re download ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA again for 10th time... NOPE still the same ...

I fixed the problem with bad serial key but DayZ commander still gives me the same, which is nothing :| I'm sad survivor now :'( I don't want to give up but this game just stole all my beans and I'm starving to death... and firewall is not a problem every program, steam, dayZcommander and arma 2 with Arma 2 OA is included in exceptions...

oh great now arma won't launch at all it says "Bad serial key given at setup" :\

For the love of god, I have to download arma 2 and arma 2 oa again? :( oh alright alright I'll do it! I'll tell you how it went once I'm finished, please keep an eye on this forum post for next couple of hours alright? Thank you very much for your help

I have installed DayZ from Steam, it has Arma 2: DayZ Mod in it, isn't that valid way of installing the mod? I've launched ARMA 2 first then ARMA 2 OA, I haven't tried installing DayZ through some external installers though... I remember it was working fine couple of months ago...

I just did it and to no awail, DayZ Commander says the same. What can be causing the problem?

It is there kind sir, there are two screenshots attached to the post, one is Settings in DayZCommander and second one is Install/Updates When I press install in Install/update tab it gives me the error provided up on my first comment. I'll provide it again here:

You also have to reload your hatchet until you use it :D that's because arma 2 has no melee weapons from what I know and mod is having problems registering your hits, you can usually guess if you hit the target out of noise it makes, if it makes a bullet noise then you git it if not try again :D

Hello, My name is George and I'm new to this forum (Note: the fact that I just Registered doesn't mean I didn't check threads) I know many people have the same issue with DayZ and/or ARMA in General, Low FPS, micro stutters and so on. So here's the thing, I had low FPS but at first I thought It was because of my video card (since I had GT 9800) but now I changed it, I bought MSI 660 Ti Power Edition and it didn't change anything at all! i'm still getting that 15-25 FPS! I attached my dxdiag! P.S. Please don't close down this topic, I've checked other posts about tweaking my performance and so on but they didn't really do anything I'm still getting 15-30 FPS on most servers and SOMETIMES (really rarely) will I get about 40 that jumps down to 21-25 immidiately. I tried changing settings (low/high) but it only gives me like 4-5 FPS difference, I also tried playing with Resolutions still the same. Can anyone tell me what is the problem with my rig and if something needs changing (CPU, GPU, RAM or whatever) (Brief PC Specs) Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit CPU ~ Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz (Sandy Bridge) GPU ~ MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition RAM ~ 8 GB HDD ~ 500GB Resolution ~ 1680x1050 (16:10 aspect ratio) if you'd want to contact me directly here's my skype > c0mb1ne < and/or you can add me on steam (whatever works for you) > LizardProtection < DxDiag.txt

didn't really help that much, i have now 25-40 fps (jumping up and down rapidly) and I'm in forest so it'll go even more down once I go to big cities to hunt for bandits like in electro. thank you for your response. got any other ideas?
