Standing up - wide normal 3PP camera view Crouched - 3PP still but camera locks directly above and slightly behind shoulder reducing the FOV (when using lean when crouched, camera will switch shoulder depending on which way your leaning) Prone - locks to first person fixes the 'camper on top of a roof in Cherno' scenario, and brings back some tension and suspense when prone. You want to camp a roof top, you gotta stand up and put yourself in harms way of a bullet.

1. Filtering by version number doesn't work for me, although WHY BI still show any servers that don't match your client version is beyond logic and reason to me! >:( I dont want to see ANY servers other than those that match my client version. 2. Yeah, the joining servers thing is annoying as hell, I will try the 'remote' workaround later. 3. When your in-game and you press esc to configure something, you get the OLD menu system!! wtf?! Other than that because of the joining servers issues I've not been able to get much game time

DayZ Experimental - I just caught a zombie chasing a cow and a pig

utterly bizarre and random.... -
I agree with Gews completely. Don't force me into a zoom I don't want! I want to zoom when I want to!

My DeviantArt DayZ gallery page - http://guyver1.deviantart.com/gallery/48026853 Download the wallpapers from my website - http://www.leonlive.co.uk/stuff/dayz_wallpapers/ I'm quite happy to do requests and touch up other peoples screens. Just some caveats to if you want me to touch up your screens: For the time you're taking your screens, bump all your GFX settings to max to get a beautiful screen. Once you finish taking the pic, put your gfx back to normal. try and take the screens at your monitors native res (for those of you who drop your res to get better frame rates.

http://www.twitch.tv/guyver1wales http://www.youtube.com/guyver1wales 1st person only, Hardcore servers TrackIR head tracking maxed out GFX at 720p and 3500bps for the highest streaming visuals. Usually partnered with my buddy Pinny - http://www.twitch.tv/pinny26 In-game comms and Teamspeak Playing for the survivor adventures, not the 3 minute bandit COD action in Elecktro (although Pinny will shoot anything that moves for no other reason than he wants to......)

Vision doesn't return to normal. I was close to death through blood loss and infection. I was saved by a guy who blood bagged me and then gave me antibiotics. While my vision colour returned to normal, my vision was still blurred and not pin sharp. I had to log off the server and rejoin to get my vision back to normal

DayZ - TrackIR 5 demonstration/Instructional tutorial
guyver1 replied to guyver1's topic in DayZ Mod Gallery
Thanks Trizzo. Glad I could help!! Feel free to make a recommendation to a forum mod regarding getting it pinned if you think its that good. -
HI everyone. I've had a few requests recently to make another TrackIR video. So I managed to get hold of a cheap webcam and here it is! Whats in the video: 1. webcam footage throughout showing my head movements while using TrackIR. 2. Demonstration of the TrackIR 5 software and how to configure axis curves, deadzones, apply and compare curve profiles, hotkeys for centering your view while in-game. 3. Discussion about deadzones on X and Z axis and why. 4. In-game demonstration of TrackIR with webcam footage. 5. In-game discussion of x axis lean and how deadzone affects this axis. 6. some totally unprepared random shootout with another survivor in the apartment block in Cherno. I didn't know him, but his name was Romeo, he died a noble death which totally made the end of this video way more awesome!! :D

FPS varies wildly depending on whats going on in the scene, where you are on the map and what you're looking at. Unless you can create some form of. 1. go to X on the map and look at X (here's a screenshot) 2. note FPS Repeat at various other locations. Again though, you still wont be able to account for zombies, etc that will affect FPS You will get wildly inconsistent results sorry.
