rocket said he's overwhelmed atm because of everything (2 devs in prison, warZ situation, what'll he do about the development, people spamming him asking him about standalone release date). it's best to wait and see, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be released prior to 2012

honestly, i really hope dayz doesn't reach consoles, because i really like it the way it is and would want dean to focus on it's development, and updates/changes might be forced on pc just so it matches console versions -

not really, no a part of the community just has to accept violence as a part of life so that the rest of them can live in peace, some people are more cut out for the job than others it doesn't matter if you kill like they kill, it's necessary, what matters is why you do it and for who/what side do you do it. how ever, what you say is true for those without ground, without "core", who kill for no reason at heart and justify it by saying "those were bandits" lesson for life but, this is a game, that changes everything, being a bandit and having to deal with them is part of it, you can't really go and cry around the forums about it, justa part of the game ppl have to accept -

I can afford it. I really wanna buy this game but I just wanna know how close is the standalone release, anything after 2 weeks means I'm buying this game.
