Eh, we've been scraping the barrel for quite sometime now so there's nothing more to say or discuss. We are waiting for them to release an unfinished game which has already broken several deadlines, no new news for nearly a month and people are starting to get agitated. -

It's a long shot but worth doing I suppose. IP addresses are not exactly infallible and if the hacker was using some sort of proxy then there will be no chance of becoming unbanned. -

Some are quite bad. Especially on a HCI bases. They look pretty but the overall problem is that it overloads the user with information, this is a problem when the mechanics operate on real-time. You'll spend more time focusing more on the interface than the actual environment and those extra seconds you waste could potentially get you killed. Arma 2 is already clunky enough as it is. -
Is the Standalone likely to give better performance?

I would say +10FPS at the very most and even then this is pure speculation based on assumptions, there's not much any of us can say. Nevertheless, it can all go crack, bang and sizzle for technical reasons as most games struggle to "optimise" without out any field testing. -

Whatever mate. It's still a Titanic piece of shit from a technical stand point. You cannot compare games to the experiences and skills from developers individual success. Quality over quantity, longer development times equalling a better game is a slippery slope and has more to with marketing than the development process itself as releasing a game before or beyond it's trend is bad business . I agree that it takes time but it doesn't take forever. You can use arguments that releasing it now as opposed to later may have some impact to the creativity process but nevertheless this is the process that it's entailed by releasing it via alpha. The only difference is that we can play while they build. -

If the philosophy of the developer is the same as sergey's, RE6 or any other rushed game then we will get a rushed game regardless. In fact, the opposite is true as the developers are trying to go above and beyond the current build of the mod on release. Your argument is flawed, neither of us are expecting a full build game. -

The first "myth" on this video I would consider as a bug/glitch. Nevertheless, it would seem that the features are incomplete or have yet to be implemented (hence the alpha stage of the mod). I'm just saying that it would be much much more convenient for the viewer to know how old these "myths" are so that they are not repeated if they have changed. -

He'd seemed to be speaking hypothetically, removing Steam or having a non-stem version would go against the reason why he has chosen Steam in the first place. Other forms may cost more money and hinder the development, Steamworks is used as on-line protection and convenience for the developers. -
