The LMGs are more suitable because vehicles with those type of attachmentsalready exist. Assault rifles are not mounted in any vehicle

If your played Arma II, you know that some versions of vehicles have a variety of weapons on them. I think you should be able to, if you have the certain gun, to "attach" it to the vehicle and make it one with a gun emplacement. Example include: -The Offroad being able to be upgraded with lets say an LMG and some scrap metal. You can, for scripting, just swap it out for the Offroad (DShKM) -HMMWV to the HMMWV (M240) with an LMG and scarp metal With mountable machine guns, you can add tripods to the game (its in arma 2) but preferably not take a backpack slot and make you able to mount machine guns anywhere. When you mount machine guns they will be recoiless but take time to set up. These can be used to defend bases against bandits. Please leave a comment and yeah thanks
