Found this fan-made trailer on youtube. It was created by the guy who makes cinematics/intros/outros for Frankie the youtube commentator. In my eyes this trailer is truly something amazing! Would make a great standalone trailer!

Tbh even if Frankie does hack from what ive seen in his videos, hes not at any advantage to anyone else and his videos are VERY entertaining, which are what youtube videos are watched for, entertainment. so why moan?

Set up a tent someone hidden to put your valuables in and then look for blood bags/morphine etc and stock up. Go round the coast helping new players etc and work on getting yourself the hero skin! (setting the tent up is so you dont die and lose your good stuff if you try to help a fellow survivor and they kill you :D)

At the moment, Humans pose a large threat as the Zombies still need work. They are of a minor annoyance at the moment and are easily avoided. The zombies are being worked on for the Standalone so they too pose a large threat. People will be scared to enter civilization not due to being sniped but due to being mauled by the number of zombies roaming the streets and buildings. All this plus the additions of detailed bone fractures/breaks, diseases being caught from drinking water,and there is also talk of diseases being carried on clothing which will also add a whole new perspective to the survival of your character.

Also the Standalone will be optimized better than the mod, so you should see an overall performance increase when playing the game too!

All i can say is: WOW. I am so excited for this release!

In the middle of the night, light a fire in the middle of Cherno and run around the fire, singing Justin Beiber songs on voice chat! Sneak up behind a sniper and start singing 'Hello' by Lionel Richie over the chat. Prone from one side of Cherno to the other.

Instead of coming onto here and complaining about hackers in public servers etc, why not just play in private hive servers or white-listed servers? Theres a much lower chance of hackers being in these servers.

Its a Zombie Survival Shooter that really allows you to immerse yourself into the game.

Maybe he just wanted to give you some items but didnt want to hang around cos of zombies?

Your GPU is fine, its your CPU which is letting you down, Id upgrade to i5 if it was me, but then like someone else stated, if you have the money, wait for the new line of processors :D

Just gotta take into consideration that whether you have a cheap PC or a 2grand PC there is still a chance you'll struggle with the dayz mod due to it not being optimized properly yet, but the standalone should be out "soonish" and dean and the team are working on making sure it is optimized properly.

sitting a mile away killing a group of people who had no idea of your existence and was posing no threat to you, seems a little pointless in my eyes? Whats the fun in ruining someone elses gaming experience for your own enjoyment? if they posed a threat then by all means, defend yourselves but just killing them for the sakes of it, its just pointless.

Go round healing people, giving blood transfusions and administering morphine. Befriend other survivors and help them on their path. Yes. Yes you do.

Just think like another person with your tent, Chances are if you had a tent stashed and someone found it, they would take your stuff, so if you find a tent, you should take their things. Their fault for not hiding the tent as well as they could :D

If you can afford it just buy Arma CO and get dayz mod, then buy the SA when it comes out, then buy Arma 3 when it comes out, its what id do :D

To me, i think everyone has their own take on "Killing on sight". In my eyes, you should not shoot first at anyone who doesnt seem a threat.

The video isnt pointing out glitches and such, just things you might not know about, ive just watched all 7 episodes and it shed light on things like - - The fact you can cook meat on burning oil drums as well as normal fires - Hero skin makes you run slightly faster than bandit skin - You can unflip an ATV by accelerating and reverse and turning wheels left to right - Radios would give out numbers which are coordinates to deer stands. These arent glitches just additions to the game people spread through word of mouth but arent sure if they are true or not.
